My person always mentioned how they would never talk to someone “like me” because of how everyone likes me and I’m so beautiful and confident and they would never expect for someone “like me” to date them. Pile 3 and this was really well timed to pop up in my recommended honestly. Mid last year I got out of a 4 year relationship that was pretty much as you described. I stupidly had taken them back after because I felt guilty and because I thought they weren't intentionally trying to hurt me but then it kept going and I just eventually finally cut it off completely.
