Okay, to be honest, the ending was really bad sports from NymN. Like, this is not an online match, it's a tournament on a livestream. Of course he wouldn't resign (I get that it is normal in high level chess), but I think, the players here don't know this etiquette and I also imagine that most of them feel that it is a better win, if they can actually checkmate instead of a resign. Not to mention that they even said at some point that they were telling in the training sessions to not resign. That really made me lose all respect for him. Ludwig is definitely a good commentator though.

The reason why both grandmasters knew there are no winning moves is because white is so underdeveloped. There simply are not enough pieces to threaten or execute any combinations.
