Totally feeling these 2 characters they need to be in a One-Shot together...
I recently made a Fathomless Warlock and it's been a lot of fun to play. I poured my starting invocations into eldritch blast to make it hit harder, slow, and knock back. With the tentacle and cantrip, my character can knock something back 20 feet and slow it an additional 20 feet which has proven to be very strong interruption. At level 6, the reaction to block damage with the tentacle has fairly strong synergy with armor of agathys. Stretching out those temporary hit points to get multiple feedback procs makes the spell especially damaging while also boosting survivability.

The Fathomless Warlock: because you want to make a pact with Cthulhu, but don’t want to play a Subclass that’s been power crept into irrelevance.
Could see you combine the two subclasses as it add some more flaver to the character
Ron Jon should take a couple levels in pally. For the tsunami bomb he catches major air, does a 1080 degree spin midair and smites the bad guy with his skim board!

I always had this idea for a character for the Fathomless warlock. That being this guy with the performance background. Who is low on his career but than ends up meeting this Mermaid (who is basically Sayu from NSR) who is like a famous pop star. So basically he makes a pact with her so that way he can boost his ability to perform but at the cost that he basically doesn't gets like ten percent of his earnings that he makes on his music gigs.
Voodoo Goliath here I come!
