The last time I got married was in Tony Lama black traditional toe elephant but you got me beat with the sharp look of caiman in snip toe.

Cowboy boots to me are really comfortable and I'd like to get a pair to where and when or if I have my wedding.

Hey Jeremiah. Really enjoy your boot reviews. They are detailed and honest. I have developed a new obsession for cowboy boots. Just got my first pair. They are ariats and unfortunately I think I might have gotten the wrong size. Like fit around instep but seem a bit tight around toes and ball of foot. Thinking of getting pair of tecovas. Seems like a real nice boot for a decent price. Any others you might suggest? Sad to say I dont have a western store around me but will be in Wyoming in August. Please keep doing your reviews.
It can be very addictive. That's how it is for me. 😊
Tecovas would be great for you because they do free shipping both ways. Other internet boot companies may offer free shipping to you, but if you don't like them or need a different size, most make you pay to ship them back and/or charge a restocking fee. Even though I have many different brands, different styles within a brand may not fit the same.

Thanks so much Matt! I would say definitely visit a boot store when you're in Wyoming. You should be able to find some Hondos and Boulets there and both are great brands to try but really use the opportunity to try a bunch of stuff and let the staff help you find the right size. Trying a bunch of different styles and brands will give a better idea of the fit you like and the brands that fit you best.

I think it would be fine to get married in old boots. Maybe even better depending on who had them before. Custom boot maker Paul Krause made a woman a special pair of boots out of her father's old boots after he passed. Apparently she walked down the aisle in them so her father could still walk her down too. Older boots might even be better.
