When I was 17 my grandmother had a massive stroke that took away her ability to walk or talk. She only ever said one phrase for the three years she lived after that. The next year when I was 18, 10 years after I got saved, we were visiting my grandmother and talking about me potentially being baptised. I was afraid to do it because I would have to give a testimony in front of the congregation about 400 people, and I really didn't want to do that. I never had an issue with the baptism itself. I didn't have any amazing testimony. I just wanted to be like Samuel, "Speak Lord, thy servant is listening." Not only that I'm much better at writing than speaking.
Anyway I was trying to make excuses and my grandmother opened her mouth and said in a crackling voice, "I want you to". She never spoke again.
I got baptised at the next opportunity because God gave my grandmother the ability to speak so I had to listen and I had my testimony too.
I can never express how cool and amazing God is not just in reality but even just in my opinion.

The church has actually taught me all of these except the first example, but this is a good presentation of foreshadowing examples of baptism in the Old Testament that are used in the New Testament.
Absolutely 100%. The circumcision is spiritual Deuteronomy 30:6. The heart, is referred to is your mind of understanding.
Now we can serve God in spirit and in truth according to John 4- 23-24.
Elijah told Elisha if he saw him when God took him that Elisha would get a double portion, like double of what Elijah did. Elijah raised 1 person from the dead, and Elisha also raised one person from the dead, but Elijah said a double portion so even though Elisha was dead he still raised another person from the dead, and received a double portion.

Thank you for this in depth teaching. There is another gentleman on CZcams who has also done a wonderful job in showing how many OT individuals are types of Christ. I was fortunate to be able to download them. I do believe various Churches do teach what you have brought up but I certainly have not seen it in this depth. Thanks for this video. Salam!!

Well, i have never read it in the first place, so i can't really give you an opinion on that, also, from my username, there is a syringe which indicates that i'm a medical biologist aka medical lab technician, working in medical labs and runing blood tests, but since that i studied basic biology at college, we took some topics on the theory of evolution and all that nons.ense, i can say that i'm not really interested in the opinions of people who say that science contradicts the bible, because when someone goes deep in studying the complexity of this universe especially the microorganisms and what happens in their microenvironment and how they interact with each other, the mechanisms, the arranged techniques, not only in biology, but all other things in this world wether it is physics or chemistry ...etc., it will be obvious that (with all my respect) only brain..less individuals will think that all this was created by chance, and that there isn't a smart creator behind all this, so i don't really waste my time reading the opinion of people who have extra free time trying to deny GOD, actually if you read about Gregor Mendel the father of modern genetics, who was also a monk, he was trying to find a way to discover the diversity in creatures' species mentioned in genesis, so for me my role models are the old scientists who actually discovered great things all by themselves but they included GOD in their work, at the end, modern biologists still couldn't create something new out of nothing, they are only discovering things that are already there created by GOD 😉 as it's said in this verse: Is there a thing of which it is said, “See, this is new”? It has been already in the ages before us. Ecclesiastes 1:10, AAAAND sorry for my long comment 🙏

Jesus Christ is the New covenant not made from this world like Adam or Eve or any other mortal man made from this world. Jesus Christ is the Temple of the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God) who had to die and rise from the dead to destroy death and all the fallen angel spirits. Mortal man's body with go back to the earth but the Body of Jesus Christ will never be destroyed.

“The fact that baptism is not required to receive forgiveness and the gift of the Holy Spirit should also be evident by simply reading a little farther in the book of Acts. The Bible is very clear that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (John 1:12; John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Romans 3:21-30; Romans 4:5; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:8-10; Philippians 3:9; Galatians 2:16).”

Good job. This is exactly as I see it too. The born-again moment is also shown in the baptism. At the moment you are connected to Christ in His death (by faith), the Spirit of God descends and unites with you bringing about your resurrection from death. This is why Christians are not part of the First Resurrection; our resurrection is Christ's resurrection.

Michael Heiser has a very insightful teaching regarding the Word of God being the Angel of the Lord being God Himself and also being in the cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. Literally this "Salvation", this "Yeshua" spoken of, being "in the cloud" being baptized in the cloud, was literally God the Son in the Old Testament there before his human birth and doing all these powerful miracles for Israel, saving them. The Jewish people today are having Yeshua revealed to them in greater and greater numbers. All of Israel will know and understand one day, as well as one day the fullness of the gentiles will be grafted into the tree to make God's family whole.
