I’m a younger 49er fan, and after Alex smith, kap, Jimmy G, and a small revolving door of qbs, seeing Brock is like a new hope. My dad said this is the future guy, we have a qb again
i'm 24, only a few months older than brock. Kaepernick and jimmy g shone bright but proved to be not all that. The team took jimmy g to the super bowl, purdy is gonna take the team there. that's the difference.
I was old enough to see Steve Young and Jeff Garcia. Brock Purdy is definitely the best QB the 49ers have had since Jeff Garcia, 3x Pro Bowler. The thing is if Brock Purdy wins MVP and a Super Bowl, he’ll be in the Steve Young, Joe Montana realm. Exciting time to be a 49ers fan, I’ve waited a long time.

I went to two training camps and i saw how good he looked. Then i went to Packers vs Niners preseason game and saw Brock lead a game winning drive and then complete a two point conversion, so i was on board the Brock train before he even started. I was at the Dolphins game when Jimmy G got injured, and i saw Brock win that game. I have posts on my Twitter as receipts for people that don’t believe me. I remember when Jimmy G got hurt at the Dolphins game i said “I’ve seen Brock pull a game winning drive in preseason i believe in this kid” and some Niner fan told me “yeah that was against 3rd and 4th stringers🙄”.
I wonder how that guy feels now, remembering me hype up Brock and look at Brock today!
Scoring on his first drive in Miami helped quell that though.
I was all like fxck. There goes our season. Then Purdy came in and lit up the fins. Didnt expect that. Then the following week against the bucs did the same. During that game I knew the kid was good. I didnt want to get ahead of myself and think that after all these years the niners might have found their starting franchise qb but at that eagles game it was heartbreaking seeing him go down with that injury and thinking maybe he wont ever be the same after that. I thought we can never have good things. But luckily he came back this season and has only gotten better and has thrown that deep ball!! 😁. Feels good to be a niner fan now

I knew Purdy was someone special last season let’s go! You can see how humble and respectful he is. He’s grateful to be with us and cares more about the team than his stats. The whole team has praised his work ethic and he’s not letting any of the haters affect him. He’s seen so much success, faced doubt and a major injury and came back out on top from failure. It’s nuts that this is only his 2nd year. I think a lot of people just can’t handle that “mr. irrelevant” is actually relevant and niners were the only one who knew his potential

With Purdy's rookie contract it has given them space to go after players as they needed them. I like that so many of the good players have been drafted. It makes a better connection with the fans watching these players develop.

Hes just humble and chill af. Hes that kinda leader that will rarely lose his cool and always have positive words for his teammates.
It's very hard to not be impressed by Brock. The kid can ball he's easily become one of the most consistent QBs in the league and week after week he proves it. Look forward to watching him ball out for years to come.

What a Beautiful Video of a youngman, picked last, in that years 2022 Draft, and deemed Mr. Irrelevant, to the NFL, and Fans... never expecting to play, but is a Christian, and I know he was Praying to The Lord everyday, Thankful of just getting the opportunity to play in the NFL... but the Kid studied Kyles Playbook day and night, even in his off days, to be ready at a moments notice, and not playing Ping-Pong everyday, like Beathard a 3rd round pick, as Grant Cohn witnessed at the 49er facility after practice and football games... and with unexpected injuries to Lance, a 1st round Draft pick, and JimmyG, making 125+ Miilion, with his tenure with the 49ers, but couldn't get over the Hump, of winning the Super Bowl.... but both are GOD Blessed themselves, like all NFL players are, still playing in the NFL on different NFL Teams... but Kyle seen his Diamond in the rough, in mini camp, when Brock was slicing and dicing, the 49er #1 Defense first stringers to pieces... so when Lance and JimmyG got injured, in the Miami game unfortunately, Brocks number came up, and he went undefeated, until meeting the Eagles in the NFC Playoffs, getting injured from a "freak accident hit", on the 1st series of his 1st drive, because that's how Satan attacks Christian's, and you wouldn't understand, if you worship the "football gods", and not The Real GOD, on Sundays, but again, that's between us and GOD, when our time comes, to be Judged by The Holy Living GOD, individually... a word of Wisdom and Advice? Get Right with Jesus Christ ASAP! ...but that's not the story, the story is... Kyle and John got rid of JimmyG and Lance before, and during training camp this season, because they know... that they, since 2017, have found a Polished Gem of a QB, that Kyle has been searching for, to run and execute his complex version, of his Westcoast Offense... they have finally found their QB, and for on the cheap, and are trying their best to Win 1 or 2 Super Bowls, before Brocks Rookie Deal ends... and the time is Now! ...no time to wait and see if Brock can play from behind, like these Brock Haters, want to see him in that position... but the entire 49er Team is not going to put Brock in that position, especially their Elite Defense... because they themselves know, that their Window of Winning the Super Bowl is closing because, many are getting older, and when Brocks Rookie Deal ends, him being a High Paid QB will come into play, and a lot of them, will be moving on to other NFL teams... but Brock can now Retire his Mom and Dad, so they can both enjoy the remainder of their GOD Blessed lives, to watch their son... play his games, Live or on the Television every weekend, from here on out! Knowing that Brock is the 49ers Franchise QB! He will get paid! But then he maybe a Tom Brady, and making sure he has his Weapons around him, and not getting Greedy, in giving the 49ers a Discount from his Humble Services... time will tell, and we shall see... now we will see, and it may be earlier... that Brock can win games, being behind 2 or 3 TD's, like his Haters want to see... because by then, he's already Won a Super, or 2? ...this season and next? I almost feel like Brock won't take a max contract.
If I'm in his shoes, I'd take a multi-million dollar contract, but one that gives my supporting cast enough money to go around so the team stays together. I see him as that type of player. The type that when he makes his, he pays it forward to every player on the team, one way or another.
This is they type of QB I always wanted to see on the Niners. I only wish him the best, as a brother in Christ.

All I want to make sure, is that I can Retire my Parents and take care of my Family, with their needs... and a $30 Million flat rate, for example, the 49ers cover the Taxes of the $30 Million, and we'll negotiate, after my 2-3 year contract is over, and we'll continue to negotiate... but they pay my Insurance and Medical costs, in case I get injured, and can't play anymore.

Seeing him enter the game last year against the Dolphins with his ability to quickly go through progressions, not stare down receivers, and to actually throw past the sticks, I knew we had someone special. Add that moxxy and improv and we have a gem.

I could literally cry watching and thinking of Brock. It is just so special and most of all he is an AMAZING qb. Its crazy how we'd been looking for the right qb forever and we got him with the very last pick in the draft and didnt even know it. Tragedy had to strike twice for us to see it, but you know what they say, things happen for a reason and I have never been happier as a 9er fan
I knew purdy was going to be special when he came in for the last drives in the preseason games that year. It was garbage time but the way he led the drive. There just something about it that i couldn’t shake. Sure enough here we are now

I was born and raised in San Francisco, lived 4 minutes away from Candlestick park. I was a niners fan by default, though I liked football and wasn't too deep in it, I just knew I was always worried about my team.
But when I was at this exact dolphins and niners game, watching jimmy g go down and losing the first half I remember us all being so stressed with absolutely NO idea what was going to happen. Brock came onto the scene and demolished that game, proved to us since DAY 1 that he was HIM.
Watching him play, watching this all unfold, at that moment, everything football just clicked.
Niners team is family, the way the play, the dedication and hard work to each other and the game, the way we are just STACKED with some of the best players in the league and how well they work together, john lynch and shanahan's work, I love our team soooooooo muchhhhh heart eyes for niners forever
