My Oc For Rock A Doodle. Princess Morning Glory, The Good Witch Of The Sun And Moon (Chanticleer's Owner). She More Like Mother Nature And Glinda. In My Version, It's Morning Glory Who Turned The Boy In A Cat As A Disguise From The Owl (Who Hates Humans Along With The Sun); Couldn't Explain Why He Killed Her Father, The King. She Tells The Boy That She's Always With Him, Even In His Quest At The City (Think Of Her As A Guardian Angel). Even Add Some Scenes Of Chanticleer Having Flashbacks Of Seeing Morning Glory As A Chick Where She Tells Him That He's "Always One Of Us" And Always The Dawn Of A New Day To Fulfill His Duties For The King.Morning Glory I Also Describe Morning Glory As Rebellious Against The Owl Like Katniss Everdeen, Saying "The Whole If We Burn, You Burn With Us" In Front Of His Face. And With The Chanticleer's Crow, The Rising Sun, And Morning Glory's Power, They Mange To Shrink The Owl (Morning Glory: Now Everyone Will Know Who You Really Are, From A Big Bully, To A Wee Pipsqueak. In The Name Of My Father, You Are Hereby Stripped From Your Title As Duke Of Night, Never To Show Your Face In My Kingdom Again *Steps And Kicks The Small Owl, Leaving Hunch To Finish Him Off*). With The Evil Owl Gone, Morning Glory Changed The Boy Back Into A Human, Taking Him Back Home With His Family Free From The Owl's Custody. And When The Boy Met Chanticleer And Morning Glory Again, Morning Glory (Now Queen) Tells Him That His Bravery And Sacrifice Brought A Miracle To Both Their Worlds And Tells Him Everyone Is Waiting For Him To Celebrate.

Hey all, I really hope you enjoy this exploration of Disney’s Cancelled & Abandoned Animations! To best avoid too many “You forgot about…” comments, I thought I’d quickly share the criteria I used to build this episode:
    1. Had to be a FEATURE LENGTH animated film, as the list of shorts would require an entire series of its own.
    2. Only films that will never see the light of day and that aren’t currently in the works for an alternate version, or were simply reworked into a similar film…one or two exceptions for reasons I discuss in the episode.
    3. Also keep in mind, a few might appear in Part 2, as the latter half of their development is more relevant or tells the best story.
    4. Has nothing to do with the criteria, but I mistakenly said that Rock-A-Doodle was a Disney film...I was going based off my personal belief that it was a Disney film having watched it many times growing up...I now realize I've been living a lie, as it wasn't...I'm going to attribute it to the Mandela effect.

Disney absolutely should tell stories with different cultures and peoples but they also have to show respect to those people’s and cultures. A Native American hero is great. People would love that.

A lot of these thinking about it, would be great but one has to wonder about the execution on some of these. Hiawatha, for example, sounds really cool but given the time it would've been adapted it'd probably be in the same situation Song of the South is today (especially since Pocahontas has gotten some pushback in recent years).

So tired of people assuming you can't do stories about non white people because it would "be seen as racist," like no. If you do it in a racist way, it will be seen as racist. If you guys want to see a potential animated Disney adaptation of Peter Rabbit I suggest you go read my four chapter fanfic on how I believe Disney could adapt the Peter Rabbit story!
As this whole story I’m working on is actually a compilation of four books written by Beatrix Potter that both star Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny as this adaptation stays very faithful to the original source material although there will be a few changes from here and there but I think the biggest change I’ve made from the original source is that Peter and Benjamin instead of being cousins like in the original are instead just non related best friends which is a change I made to have their friendship feel more youthful and rebellious and also more importantly to avoid elements of incest that happens later on in the story when Benjamin grows up to marry and have children with Peter’s sister Flopsy! And so my adaptation compiled by four books would be a coming of age story about family tradition, dealing with the loss of a loved one, rebellious youth, power of friendship, childhood memories, having crushes, growing up, being a good father, remembering the good old times, and, reconnecting with your old best friends! You’ll know what I’m talking about if you read my story! I’ll leave you a link if you guys are curious to read it I think you guys are gonna love it! This is a story I wrote as a tribute Beatrix Potter but as tribute most importantly Walt Disney himself as he originally wanted to adapt this story but couldn’t do it at the time and so this whole animated Disney Peter Rabbit fanfic I made was a story I wrote specifically for Walt Disney himself as I believe that if he were to have made this adaptation this would be the kinda story I think he would have wanted to make!

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you doing this, and I CANNOT WAIT for part 2!! I hope you'll take the time to go into detail, because there's so much juicy stuff! One of the greatest things about working for Disney was one of the most frustrating things: seeing all kinds of versions of movies, or entire concepts, some not very good, some wonderful (IMHO) that the public would never know existed. So glad you're changing that! Rock on, brother.

Red Ace, When it comes to adaptations, the original source material is usually used less than other adaptations. For Alice in Wonderland, most of what we immediately think of are those John Tenniel illustrations; a representation of the words, not the words themselves. Which then inspired the 1923 silent film, which inspired the 1933 film, and so on and so on. It's like a game of Chinese whispers, by the time we get to the Tim Burton adaptation, it's so far removed from the novel, it's nearly unrecognizable aside from a few designs and themes.
The 'purest' adaptation I can think of is the Czech 1988 movie called 'Alice' by Jan Švankmajer. Which seems to be removed from other adaptations completely. Does it make for a better movie? I don't know, it's certainly the weirdest of them all. There is an English version, and definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of creepy Eastern European surrealism. (It's a very, *very* weird movie...)

@@YesterworldEntertainment fun facts 1 did you know that Alice’s dress color is actually white because of a stage production from 1886 the author ✍️ Lewis Carroll intended on that color.
2 in The Nursery Alice a shortened version of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Alice’s dress color is yellow it was approved by the author.
3 on something called The Wonderland Quadrilles Alice’s dress color is red also approved by the author.
4 on something called The Wonderland Postage stamp case Alice’s dress color is also yellow.
5 in The Nursery Alice Alice has Ginger Blonde hair while in the Alice books Alice has Dirty Blonde hair.
6 originally the fairytale was called Alice’s Adventures Under Ground the pictures were done by the author himself in those Alice is depicted as a Dirty Blonde without the apron.
7 the picture that i picked for my profile pic is of Alice by John Tenniel the illustrator of the Alice books in a cartoon called Hoity Toity published on 1st February 1868.
8 on something called Alice in Blunderland also drawn by John Tenniel Alice is drawn as a teenager with elbow length hair like in the profile pic.
9 on Biscuit tins advertising the second book Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there these were approved by the author on those Alice’s dress is royal blue.
10 on something called Alice in Bumbleland also done by John Tenniel he watercolered Alice’s dress blue.
11 for the published version of the book Lewis Carroll originally thought of the title as Alice’s Hour in Elf land.

    Hiawatha didn't bother too much
'Bout Minnie Ha-Ha and her tender touch
Till she took him to the silver stream
Then she whispered words like he had never heard
That made him all shudder inside when she said
Wig-wam bam, gonna make you my man
Wam bam bam, gonna get you if I can
Wig-wam bam, want to make you understand
Try a little touch, try a little too much
Just try a little wig-wam bam
    Running Bear never cared enough
About Little White Dove and her tender love
'Til she took him to the silver stream
She told him all about what he couldn't live without
And made him all weak inside when she said
