- He is 89 years old but still has urge to look after cattles. Marave Narayanappa is most known farmer in all 4 states in south India who has been breeding Hallikar bulls since 80 years.
He calls barn as temple and cows as god. There is no single day in my life where I have been away from cows says Narayanappa. The youth of Karnataka has started following the great legend and have started buying hallikar cows.

Funny incident🤣🤣...About 3 yrs ago...me and my friends from delhi..were on a bike ride towards nandi hills and ghati subramanya temple....we didnt know there was a cattle fair going on...and there was a huge crowd who were awaiting some procession on a silver chariot...we thought the temple deity was placed on the chariot...and there were like 15pairs of these huge bulls in the front of the chariot....me and my friends stood by the road waiting for About 20 mins ....expecting to see the temple god....as the chariot came closer me and my friends burst out in laughter.....this grandpa was sipping fanta sitting on the chariot ......
