Oh man that really was a clean fight. I remember when I finally beat him I was so excited to tell you in whatever stream you where doing that day. Was nowhere near as clean a fight as this one though.

i remember being so excited when i was 13 and beating sephiroth on the ps2 with the originals. dude was insane, even dark souls and demon souls didnt make me panic like his theme song still does.
Missildine I just wanted you to know that ever since you made your kh1.5 and kh2.5 walkthroughs I watched all of them and played along with them and they helped me through a lot of rough times. They are my favorite series you make and I’m sorry they weren’t too popular but I’m glad you still made them. I’m really looking forward to when you finish kh2.5 and soon begin kh3! I just wanted to say thank you and I hope you continue this series.

Loved the video! Combined with this guide and copying things I saw in a lv 1 critical mode no hit fight, I finally was able to beat sephiroth in kh2fm for the first time! and on critical mode non the less!

Great strategy. I just came back to KH2 to do this fight and The Lingering Will fight so I could make sure I had everything done before KH3 next week, and this one really helped me.

I wanted to say, as a very, very late comer to the channel, thank you for all the epic videos over the years. I really appreciated finding a YT'er who loves Legend of Dragoon as much as I do, like a year back, as I was planning to go back to my LP of the game. Grew up most of my life with no one knowing LoD, and then finding other content you had done on games I enjoy has been a really nice treat! Weirdly enough I very, very vaguely remember beating Sephiroth at some point in my life to obtain the Fenrir Keyblade, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how in the hell I actually pulled it off, as I am not great at challenging fights like Sephi was in either game (actually imho KH1 is a lot harder of a game than this one is), and I remember being almost...disappointed by the reward for all the effort once I did? It is really weird, since I can't recall any details of actually progressing through his health bars, maybe I like...did a series of continues back on the PS2 era? Anyways, thanks for the video! And again, thank you for all the content over the years, that I can watch!

Also 1000% agreed. KH1 is way harder, but these fights aren't easy! The Roxas fight is still, to this day, one of the hardest things I've ever completed in a video game!

Great guide. I beat him on my third try in kind of a funny way. I mis-read him and spammed reflega during his fire pillars attack and it killed him with about a bar and a half left. So there’s that.

Thank you so much for this! It helped a lot! Unfortunately I didn't have a clean fight like this, but I did win. :) I also had a close call where I was about to die, then Auto Limit saved me lol. Limit Form is so OP! When he was down to his last bar, I used Sonic Rave to finish him. It felt so good to win this on Critical mode after only 5 tries!

Hey so I've just recently found you and I've been enjoying watching the kingdom hearts vids unfortunatly it seams like you don't have the leveling guide, synthesis guide, the data 13 guide, or the mushroom 13 guide or the ending in the playlist. Now I've searched it content and you have a lot of stuff so its possible I have over looked these in the archives but you have led me this far in my search for a platinum so I would really like to complete this journey with you. Anyway you could link these guides?

I beat him when I was kid on like a second attempt at level 60, but have never even scratched him in KH1

I got really lucky there in this fight cause I wasn't able to interrupt that move that leaves you on one hp and no magic but everytime he did it I was able to use an elixir cause I had them on my command shortcuts so I was able to heal right before he attacked me the rest of the fight was cake.
You can interrupt Descend Heartless Angel!?

I always felt Sephiroth was harder in the first one.
I always thought so too - but critical mode makes that different. Hes faster and one mess up is usually the end. If I didnt curaga at the exact second - id have lost
Cory Don't Forget About LEVEL 1 Mode it's Harder Then Critical Mode
Level 1 mode on Critical! Actually - not that different! In either mode, you can't get hit.

It's harder to beat kh1 sephiroth on level 1 proud with kingdom key than kh2 with the same limitations. But leveled up kh2's is more difficult.

I'm trying to do lingering will now and it's the hardest thing I've ever attempted it's taken me 4 days so far. Thanks for the tips by the way! They helped me beat Sephiroth and have a smoother flow.

Stanley Moreau the player’s HP is 60 vs 120 because that’s the max HP level Critical Mode allows you to have.
I faught him for two hours and im still dying... i get to phase 3 and he still kicks my ass. You missed a bunch of things he does.
