  • A few laps at Barona Oaks MX on their last weekend before closing for the summer. I would like to thank ‪@RideJBI‬ and ‪@twisteddevelopmentracing‬ for the work they recently did on my 2019 KTM 450 SX-F. I am not sponsored by either company, but I highly recommend them if anyone is in the market for suspension work or an ECU remap.
JB with RideJBI did a fantastic job on my suspension. For anyone with the WP air fork, JB offers a variety of upgrades depending on your budget and what you are looking for. I really liked the bottoming resistance and light weight of my stock air fork, but I was looking for more plushness on bumps and rocks. JB has a pro revalve for the air fork and shock which really smoothed it out over the braking bumps, without sacrificing any bottoming resistance. In fact, it actually gave the bike a deader feel on big landings compared with stock. JB was very helpful at explaining everything, and we went with a moto/ pro-offroad setup. I have not tested it in the desert yet, but so far at Cahuilla Creek and Barona Oaks it has worked great.
While speaking with JB, he also recommended an ECU remap from Twisted Development to reduce the engine braking and smooth out the power delivery, thus keeping the suspension from loading up in turns and when coming into rocks. TD is in the same complex as RideJBI, and I was able to get my ECU remapped in about 10 minutes while picking up my suspension. I was not expecting this to make as much of a difference as it did, but I was blown away by how much more rideable the bike is. I highly recommend both of these mods, especially for anyone with the Austrian bikes who is maybe struggling with the harshness of the stock suspension and twitchiness of the throttle.
    Enjoy the video!
