The Topwater Action Was Crazy Until The Cows Started Talking To Me

- It's a beautiful day for some kayak fishing and the smallmouth are hitting topwater! Sometimes things get strange on the water.

I watch other fishing videos and they always have an intro-interview and tell us what they are going to do. Then they catch a couple of so-so size large mouth and spend the next 10 minutes shouting OMG and screaming like a 6 year old that just caught his first fish. Then they have an outro-interview where they go over everything that they did on that video, like we weren't there watching it. In other words, in a 15 minute video like this one, they spend at least 1/2 the time talking and the other half casting and screaming about the 1 or 2 fish they caught. But your intro is you paddling out into the sunrise and start to catch fish immediately. When you are through, you simply say, "Well, that's it for today. Thanks for coming along with me." No using God's name in vain, no screaming like a beginner and no boring us with endless talking. There are not enough words in the English language for me to tell you how much I appreciate your videos. Keep em up.

For those channels that show in my feed i click not interested and they stopped showing in my feed i hate those grownkid vids watch us spend 25$ at walmart and catch fish and dont even know how to properly set a hook get outta here..

every time matt goes fishing, we see an amazing understanding of fish habits/nature, calming scenery and skilled angling in general.

I landed on this channel when I looked up videos on Whopper Plopper lure and I've been hooked since then. I pretty much fish similar kinds of lures in tropical freshwater, but the problem I face is with the split rings and hooks opening up almost all the time on decent fish. I even had that giant hook on a Z-MAN CHATTERBAIT open up like nobody's business. One thing interesting with this video that's contrasting with where I fish, besides the fact that we're over 1000 miles apart is that the fish go crazy for topwater, but I have to wait for the sun to come out. The action is hot between 9 am and 10:30 am in the morning for topwater. Keep them videos coming.

As always, I am very impressed with your fisheries in the upper Midwest. You are very blessed to have lakes (and rivers) full of big, healthy fish.....and most of your videos show few, if any, other boats on the water putting pressure on them.

My grandma lived on beaver lake before she passed. Spent alot of time on that lake. Have some great memories there.

As always, I was delighted with the fishing action and environment. And also learning interesting things. In this case about the Zara Spook being useful for both salt and freshwater. I ´ve got two or three top water for saltwater and they don ´t seem to float properly in freshwater because of water density difference. Not the case, certainly, with your lure which besides is advertised in Amazon as useful in both salt and freshwater fishing.
