I like the movie senna more. For the pure reason that in rush they changed lots of stuff from the real life season. watch a documentary about the real season abound you will see how much was changed
I love the acting in this scene. The eyes on Chris and Daniel, those expressions say more than their words ever could about how they felt about each other, that season, the moment... Add the hand salute to each other in with the stares, and it was just fantastic acting by both men. Ron Howard definitely got the most out of Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl in the making of this film.
Every time I see this I have to turn up the volume to hear those engines roar. I bet watching this grand prix in 1976 had to be one of the most awesome races in F1 history.
When I saw this scene for the first time, I literally had tears in my eyes. Not happy or sad tears. Just tears. Its almost impossible to describe what I felt at that moment. What a story. What a movie!
Scene cant be better, awesome movie, awesome story, thing what makes me feel emotional is that this story is true, it really happened, its not fake and its not made by someones imagination.
The most underrated movie in recent memory. It is a great motorsports movie, a stunning sports movie and a great movie in general. Even non racing fans can get the tension and relationships depicted.
As this scene rolled, I just had tears streaming down my face and had no idea why. The combination of the brilliant cinematography, the editing, the absolutely amazing score combined with the thundering of the engines, and the way Ron Howard created such an air of majesty..it was too much.
Respect. There is nothing more beautiful that two rivals who share respect for each other. Who compete for the thrill of competing, to see who the better man is. Beautiful
webnovice2012 Cigarrete Sponsors go away, Monster, Red Bull and Rockstar come. Not especially in Formula 1 but look at the MotoGP, almost every Team who was sponsored by Cigarretes are now sponsored by Energy Drinks...
immense torque power for such light chassis... this was the reality of formula 1 in late 70s, some of this cars were faster than todays formula 1's in streight line, the only diffference is that current formula 1's are faster in corners because of modern suspenssion and aerodynamics, but this cars and the 80s were the peak of wildness in formula 1, after that driving the cars became a lot less tecnicaly demanding
I love the moment when the tyres picked up the water and the cars all struggled forward, presenting the strength of man's will power, through machine, against nature.
God this movie is brilliant. People talk about "every frame a painting", but it really is true here. Pause almost anywhere in this video and you'll have a still frame you could hang on your wall.
Most would think that the best drivers in a race like this would be the 1st and 2nd runners. When actually, all of them are the best drivers driving in these harsh and almost impossible conditions
Rivals on the track, ready to die for the win until Niki realised there's more to life. Two different philosophies at war with eachother one an innate talent and one pure aggression. This is pure formula 1.
I grew up watching early F1 on TV (I recall for example Andretti, Fittipaldi, Hunt, Peterson, Lauda, Piquet, Rosberg and more) as well as watching rally on TV (Blomqvist, Röhrl, Vatanen, Waldegård and many, many others). Such beautiful machines, and such skilled drivers. If you haven't seen it, search for "vatanen puncture" on CZcams, go to 1:55 :-) Is it all gone forever, one might ask. Nah, there will always be a need for something similar. At the moment, we have _Isle of Man TT_, for example.
A friend supports you when you're down, a rival pushes you when you're at your peak
The Best race movie ever made.

Iam braziliam, I'd love to see a Senna movie too! It's could be Rush 2 Senna and Prost!
+my name does not metter i agree whit you, about they hava changed the true history. But all movies use to do this...
+mynamedoesnotmetter i agree whit you, about they have changed the true history. But all movies use to do this
+my name does not matter But "Senna" is a documentary. Of course documentary will be more accurate than action/drama movie based on real life events.
Two warriors giving thier respects.
Marvel warriors Thor and Baron Helmut Zemo
@@jamesgentry13 Now they are both dancing in the heavens together, reliving 1976.

they Werke good friends

Right up until someone crashed and what was left of them fit in a lunch box.
GhostEye31 No guts, no glory.
EvilBonesMan_666 which is why like with many things in life, respect for the men that drove these cars but I wouldn't do it myself.
+Viper Dagger : Imagine if they make this same scene picturing the rivalry between Hamilton and Vettel in today's V6 cars... that will be hilarious.
+GhostEye31 That's not what happened in this race (the 1976 Japanese Grand Prix).
When I saw this scene for the first time, I literally had tears in my eyes. Not happy or sad tears. Just tears. Its almost impossible to describe what I felt at that moment. What a story. What a movie!
Non verbal Communication at its perfection
One of the most criminally underrated movies of all time...
how the hell didnt Daniel Brühl take an oscar of best actor for this?
fuckin' harambe

When Nikki Lauda made that salute, I felt it stabbing into my heart. When I rematch it today, it still does
Respect. There is nothing more beautiful that two rivals who share respect for each other. Who compete for the thrill of competing, to see who the better man is. Beautiful
Finally a racing movie made of poetry instead of action.
I would have likes more racing scenes but the rscibg scenes they did have were realistic and accurate
This movie made me love and understand why people love F1...
There's nothing more spine-tingling than looking at your greatest opponent in the eyes and sharing a moment of mutual respect.
it is the best F1 film
Best Movie ever
Thx rush now I wanna be a f1 racer
F1 might be finished as a sport due to cigarette companies pulling out the sponsorships.

最高。ライバル、フォーミュラマシン、過酷、雨、最終決戦、そしてこのエンジンサウンドとタイヤの質感・・・。これこそがモータースポーツだ。Rush大好き。
"Electric tension here at Fuji!"
wen I saw dis movie scène i need to cry and I need to cry on the ending scene
Fantastic
Epic scene of an epic movie. Image quality in this scene is absolutely mind-blowing!!!!
I get chills every time I watch it. The commentator actually sounds very close to the real commentator they still have on those races today...
Hans zimmer is a genius
Totally EPIC
U can tell its a good movie, any time it airs u can watch it.
What a scene..Now both can race in heaven..Competers on field but the mutual respect as opponent is a class...forever the legends..😍🙏

Extraordinaria película. Soberbias actuaciones 2 grandes de la formula 1.
RIP Niki, you will be sorely missed as was James Hunt.. I hope they are both now fighting wheel to wheel on the great big race trackin the sky!
Amazing movie, I love this scene
Oh... goosebumps!

This scene goes perfectly with the song "Winter Storm" from Ace Combat 5
Youre right. It fits perfectly. Thanks for sharing that idea.
love that game!!

Oscar winner film !

The cars then were so much sexier than the computers on wheels driven in F1 nowadays.

God I love those V12 engines
IronKnight117 v6 engines not v12
Cette scène est magnifique
Back when F1 cars where at their peak in performance without all the regulations we have now.
Massive respect to all the F1 drivers who raced week after week in these cars not knowing whether they will come back in one piece
when i watched the movie i told myself its a great scene ,.
the best drama scene i think i see on my life beeing driver
What A Movie

Someday I hope they will make a similarly brilliant movie on the legendary rivalry between Federer and Nadal!!

Leave it to Ron Howard to capture the essence of Formula One Racing. Great movie.
how me an the homies look at each other after we said we were “just cruising” for the night

Total snub in cinematagraphy

back when thor and zemo were racing against each other
