The more you hear how compromised the Rhodesian forces were the more you wonder how many of our brave young men were killed as a result of this treachery. I am sure the number would be shocking. Can you and John do an episode on this subject. I truely believe that all the external operations in 79 were compromised. Thanks for all you great work.

@@AnnE-mn8ny Ann, we lost 16 men in an operation in Gaza province in late 79. These were very special men, mostly SAS, RLI and Sappers, who were shot down by very experienced AA gunners. There is not a doubt in my mind that their mission was compromised. Were the gunners Zanla men or where they foreign troops. Maybe Vietnamese or Chinese, just speculating.

Similar examples these past 12 years.
      U. S. Army Rangers or Green Beret, in Niger or Chad; Tillman machine gunned in Afghanistan; Amtracs sinking, micro manage the builders.
In the movie "War dogs", Jonah Hill character sells malfunctioning rounds to the USA military.
In Iraq, the group known as Black Water, now Xe, had GPS geared for the USA, not Iraq. These men stopped other Iraq men from harming Iraq citizens.
Then weeks after, surrounded and killed.
CPO Kyle was set up and killed by a Marine.
Usually, when mention of a situation or person, does not cohese, listen those giving the notice.

Andre's story of traveling to London to eliminate members of MI6 is really amazing. This was unknown to me and quite a revelation. I hope this topic is expanded upon and weaved together into the greater narrative of the covert operations that were being conducted by SAS to assassinate Mugabe. There was so many intelligence operations going on behind the scenes of the Lancaster talks that would fill a Frederick Forsyth novel. I hope someone writes a book containing all the new information that has come out over the years to include Andre's secret mission. Great interview.

The memory of these brave men has cast a huge shadow on the memory of Mr Scheepers, who himself. will be remembered for fighting with the bravery of a Bull Elephant, for his Country, his Kin-Folk, and Comrades at Arms. Mr Scheepers regarding your feelings expressed at 9.00 are you a remote viewer ? Has this continued to happen through your life ?
Years ago when I read a Ken Flower book it seemed obvious he went from Rhodesian intelligence to serve Mugabe way too easiliy.
Hannes if you don`t mind me saying, with the greatest respect to all soldiers, Rhodesian, Russian, Frelimo, American or who ever, it appears as if there is a body of power underhandingly controlling both sides of all conflicts. My realisation of this was when Rhodesain troupies were deployed in the cities supposedly awaiting the election results. General Walls told us if Mugabe wins there will be a coup by the Rhodesian forces which never came as the troops were ordered to stand down. The deception at the top level of politics is astounding. Fighting heros let down by the likes of Flower, following his orders and knowing the outcome for the troops. Disgusting really. Still goes on to this day. What a world.

It was interesting to hear your experience using the SAM 7 missile, and your opinions on the Viscounts being shot down by a missile. Who authorized you to take out the guys in the UK, that you refer to;? Was it the Rhodesian SAS hierarchy or the 'slope' generals? I agree the 'slopes' were devious, they had an arsenal of HIV and Ebola as WMD. You made the right choice to move to Australia. I know that British police where sent to monitor the so called elections, some experienced voter intimidation they were told to keep their mouths shut. Harold Wilson the then British Prime minister was said to be on 2 payrolls a,British b, Russian. Then under Mugabe,s rule the once Bread basket of AFRICA turned into a waste land. what a awful awful shame. From one Brit to you Rhodesian people I am very very sorry and ashamed.
