Regarding this.... during my school days, whenever I performed well in exam, I always expressed gratitude to my mother. She would wake up at 4 a.m., prepare tea and breakfast for me, and provide immense support, enabling me to study in peace. However, during my 10th board exams, despite following the same routine, one of my relatives suggested that I should visit a temple and make offerings, claiming that God would help me achieve remarkable marks. When I inquired about the reasoning behind this, the relative asserted that God's blessings would contribute to my academic success.
My response was, "Why should I do that?" I questioned how God could have contributed to my studies since God neither woke me up early, nor prepared food for me, nor helped me understand my doubts. Instead, I expressed my intention to thank my teachers and parents, who truly played a pivotal role in my achievements. To my surprise, the relative accused me of being selfish. Although I could have argued further, I chose to remain polite, as taught by my parents, and simply smiled while ignoring the relative's remark, despite considering it naive. You cannot change the person thought the only you can do is just ignore...
This is where our youths are wrong. Being theist doesn’t mean you just pray and God will solve all your problems. In Bharat hinduism is a way of life, set of principles which you follow to make your life peaceful, clear and succeed and what is that way of life ? Read Bhagwad Gita. In your example you are already doing what Shri Krishna says (Karm karo) & thats what you did right? You studied, your job(karm) was to study, that means you are already following whats written in hindu religion and you succeeded. Your relatives must have just said so that you might get extra confidence, he didn’t put a gun to your head and forced to go to the temple, did he? It was just an option, no need to cry about it on the internet in front of strangers !
Stay away from the people like Vimoh who calls themselves Atheists just to get likes so they can earn without doing anything productive. They just want to distract you because they have nothing else to do.

Morality without religion is wayyy better than morality that is completely based upon religion (coz some theists say "without religion morality nahi aa sakti" ) , Think about that. Everybody without reading scriptures knows that murder and discrimination is bad BUT if religion is only the source of morality then discrimination against lower castes/kafirs is fine. DO YOU AGREE ? In place of 'luck', please, use words like chance, contingency, accident, etc. Because the term 'luck' leads straight to people calling themselves lucky or unlucky, and the whole notion of predestination comes into play. Woh to apni kismat upar se likhva ke aaya hai; jiski kismat mein jo likha hai vahi hota hai, etc. So please avoid this kind of fallacy by avoiding the terms luck and lucky.

@@vimoh sorry to not specifying my sense here when I said education, i didn't mean memorising concepts , i didn't even meant education provided by institutions, education which is gained through experience and right interpretation in life.. which shows us that there is nothing to be arrogant of because all the time we make mistakes and epistemologically every memorized concepts can be doubted.

@@DeSaintDawg Yes, to a broad extent this analogy will do. Phobia is an irrational fear of something which has no basis in reality, like ghosts. But going deeper, phobias can be much more complex. For example one of my old friends had this phobia of cockroaches. Whenever he saw a cockroach in bathroom or kitchen he screamed his loudest and came running out of the room. Even his family used to laugh at him. But how did this phobia develop, nobody could tell.

The point is if a person with all of his efforts couldn't get much in this life then his sufferings wouldn't go in vain there's a much better reward it doesn't definitely mean one has to become poor go off with all worldly assets so that he would get good position in hereafter...
