*Your explanations are clear and straight forward It's always a honor to have you here as a mentor, I appreciate you for the time being spent to educate us financially. Regardless of how bad it gets the economy, I still makeover $28K every single week. I truly value Laura, and her helpful guides*
The first step to successful investment is figuring your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a financial professional but it's very advisable you make use of professional.
I know Laura, she has really set the standard for others to follow, we love her here in the UK as she has been really helpful and changed lots of lives.
21:43 - Wisdom of the Crowd - SportsBet Australia corrrectly identified Nat Thaipun as the winner of Masterchef Australia months ago, to the point where a local publication was saying there must've been a leak. But the show responded that while the show is filmed in advanced, they film multiple endings with the winner only announced on the actual air date. The difference was crazy though - 1.25:1 vs 7:1 odds. With the finale on Sunday, it turns out sportsbet were right.
*Shaan!* Not sure where to write you, I only use CZcams for social media.... I got this ad on my work CZcams computer. Did they steal your voice? (It's unlisted on my channel so only people here can see it.) Does anyone else think this is Shaan's voice? czcams.com/video/GwFNW1G8eyE/video.html I saved the whole thing offline in case Shaan wants it to use when making a complaint. 👍
I listened to a Planet Money episode about sonic branding which might be the modern equivalent to jingles. Think the Netflix "dun dun", the HBO static intro or the Mac startup sound. The idea being it has a Pavlov's dog effect on you. If you encounter a similar tone or note arrangement elsewhere you instantly think of that brand. Plus it's less cheesy than a jingle.
Let’s start calling PR people bubble wrappers. Bubble wrappers: the ones who always say things delicate, super afraid of offending others. Bubble rappers: weak hip hop artists afraid of sharing their real opinions PS: Cadillac reflexes is the second best new slang
Here's a question that came to mind, while watching one of your other videos, but I couldn't remember which video to go back to, and ask the following question. When hiring an overseas independent contractor, do you like to pay hourly, or would you prefer to hire on a per-job basis? And, I'm voting for "bubble wrap", "pebbles" and "teaching a fish to climb a tree". Could choose just one!
I'm a huge fan of brand mnemonic sounds, some are like verbal memes. One of my favourites is a crypto exchange Cow Swap. Every time you complete a trade you get a moo.
Slipping in some of these slang words on the next interview without telling the guest anything would be hilarious. Whether they call you out or go with it, it’s a win win.
To demonstrate I alway listen to the end google climbing perch (it’s a fish known for climbing trees) Also here’s a quote from Einstein about the same topic. “Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”
A friend of mine lost a couple hundred thousand on fanduel and as a thank you for being apart of our v.i.p program they gave him a cheap embroidery logo baseball cap!😂
Really refreshing to see Shaan school Sam on gambling. draft kings operates legally. Doesn’t make it non-addictive, but it makes no different than candy crush, juul, bud light, etc. People want to pick and choose what they find morally incorrect. Meanwhile, most of us fall victim to some vices.
Wisdom of the crowd is a little misguided. Maybe cooperation of the crowd is unmatched, but other than that it's usually just virtue signaling of the crowd to get in on the popular.
“Bubble wrap” fits in the most elegantly, but I think the clear winner here is “massaging an elbow” - it’s got layers, baby.
The MFM intro/theme song is a kind of jingle. "I feel like I could rule the world, and I know I can be what I want to..."
I love how your podcasts are in story telling mode. Real edutainment

You're right! The very first time I tried, I invested $2000 and after a week, I received $8,400. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
Interesting! But I'm new here. How can I get to this person's guidelines??
SHE IS ON TELEGRAMs
Sam can you do an episode on how you hired employees for trends and how you hired the analysts where did you find them etc
"Bubblewrap this" and "that's like teaching a fish to climb a tree" were both brilliant
Ultimate diss, "Look I can't really bubble wrap this any better.. but it looks like we're trying to teach a fish to climb a tree"

Definitely shaan’s voice
That's Shaan all day
I thought it wasn’t just my imagination.
@@BasicFolders I know we think that this is an AI-generated voice, but really doing car insurance ad voiceovers is Shaan's real side hustle
@@RossDCurrie 🤣

Question: Why do you feel "jingles" are unilaterally "cheesy"?
I'm using bubble wrap it starting today. Genius.
Massaging elbows .. 10/10, stealing that. Love the conversation at the end! More of that 😂
the jingles have evolved into tiktok dances and viral trends
I think bubble wrap's the winner because all corporate slang is just bubble wrapping something.

Normally Shaan brings the heat but today Sam brought his A game with the buzzword of the year, bubblewrap.
I would guess that the cost of running a commercial to a song/jingle length would not be cost effective these days.
You could do it with OTT/CTV ads for pretty cheap actually and since they are not skippable it would potentially work
Disagree, all the ads I remember are jingles.
Long term businesses are jungle based
ur probably running an ad for a certain amount of time anyways, cut it down
I live in Japan PLEASE NO MORE JINGLES. EVERY commercial has one
6:35 "I could and I should that was a bullshit excuse. Thank you!"😂
Man, I love MFM
By Mennen!
Cah-stanza!
These were all intellectually delightful.
You should checkout "The Micro-Script Rules" by Bill Schley, the entire book is about jingles, and micro-messaging topic you're discussing!
Shaan is way too good at communicating.
Sam is the logical brains behind MFM.
They bring on Bang-On Ideas and topic. I wonder how.
i went out and got a jingle made bc of this podcast lol

Kinda like the Billy of the week for you guys.
can you guys give something for standups meetings?
bubble wrap was best one
I’m definitely going to use bubble wrap

the reason i say cheap is because the stitching was coming out .
Bubble wrap is 💯% catching on! It’s PERFECT! Short, simple, easy to understand. And the visual… 👏😁
I agree and you are right it's the visual !
5th commentary hurray
Fun fact: double click a comment and it triggers a " like" 😂
In my business, when something is hard we call it, "woodpecker's lips".
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sam said we’ll see what we can do and went 5/5!!! 😂
Nips Up is the clothing brand for Podcasters...
We boiling eggs, potatoes or makin' coffee?
Really refreshing to see Shaan school Sam on gambling.

1% of commercials nowadays have jingles, an even lower percent have white people.
Wow Sam! You are really judgey on the gambling!
Jingles are replaced by tiktokable songs which are easier to market
Too bad Tiktok songs get annoying fast and you don't really have a branding advantage
Demolition Man is not an action movie... it's a documentary!
Shaan looking MEAN AND THIN!!!!!
Wisdom of the crowd is a little misguided. Maybe cooperation of the crowd is unmatched, but other than that it's usually just virtue signaling of the crowd to get in on the popular.
Not when betting is involved
Bubble wrap 🔥🔥🔥
“Are we boiling eggs or potatoes” is genuinely brilliant
These podcasts are way too addictive. 😂
8.6
Without hesitation: “Your board is full for bullshit bingo” will be used in tomorrow’s meeting. That is 👏🏼 fucking👏🏼 brilliant
Bubble wrap is awesome !
Oooh first comment baby
since when does mfm do post credit scenes? 😭😭
The boys must be on vacation, huh?
