The UFC holding seems interesting. Ferrari is a beautiful company, but the PE is way too much for me. On the flip side, it's also tough to value a company which can just bring out a new special model and earn hundreds of millions extra.
You know some about media companies, wouldn’t it be easier than ever for an upstart UFC to exist? WWE seems like it has more barriers, not sure how viewership and popularity is though. A Luxury brand is definitely the space I want to be in right now, but that P/E is nuts.

The real question about which stock to chose is based on consistency:
- TKO (and EDR) could be seen more as a growth stock, might lose it's way, have a massive draw down, and come roaring back. Their biggest financial problem is just paying down debt which should be easy enough.
- RACE should be a slow and steady, strong compounder for years to come. The EU-EV issue will probably be worked around either through genuine innovation, OR a more likely story is that wheels get greased (pun intended) and they just put a cap on ICE vehicles that Ferrari miraculously falls under. RACE can also be expressed through the KLXY ETF which is an ETF based on luxury brands and will probably move up in weighting.

Sam, you didnt do any research on ferrari, you missed so many important events / topics mainly that enzo built this company to race and literally sold cars just to keep the racing team afloat. He was so desperate at one point he almost sold to ford, and towards the end of the negotiation famously walked off for lunch and abandoned the deal because they wanted control over his race team. Ferraris entire thing is their engine, and as cars go electric and hybrid it literally kills the company. Fun pod to listen to as usual tho, thanks for making

Great content as usual. I’m also a fan of the UFC and a martial artist myself.
One thing about the salaries case that you didn’t consider: the biggest Con that the UFC has right now, is that they don’t pay their fighters enough.
Don’t underestimate the colateral growth that would mean salaries similar to the other big leagues. A wave of new fighters and a boost in the mma industry. As well as removing detractors.

Shaan's TKO recommendation FTW. Seems like the upside opportunity is really what you would be buying here. Ferrari, and by extension their exposure through F1, may be saturated. The lackluster response to the Miami and Las Vegas F1 events shows the headwinds they're up against, even if the road forward is $600 hats.

Gentlemen! I watch all of your episodes from beginning to end, because you guys are awesome! Often your episodes create opportunities for those that watch them. Lately you’ve been getting away from that, and I can understand why, it’s difficult to create opportunities for others repeatedly. But I have a solution that gives you the best of both worlds. Create opportunity for those that listen, while still bringing on amazing guests. Would love to speak with your pod manager.
Another great episode, guys. In my opinion, Sam is the winner this time, but Shaan epitomises Sam's pitch with his shirt. I'm also not giving financial advice for legal reasons, but because it's Fun February, I just invested $100k in Ferrari call options and took Sam's if statement into action. High risk, but a hilarious story if it works out 🤣

Love this! Some suggestions if you’re going to do this again:
1) pick a blue chip based you like based off whatever metrics you both find important (or just love Zuck for example) and a wild card smaller stock
2) have an imaginary $1,000,000 to “invest” between the blue chip and wild card. Then revisit for stockapalooza 2025 and see who’s portfolio did better #NotFinancialAdviceTho

Both picks were super interesting. After some thought... i think id go with TKO. Ferrari seems like a safe pick, but I think its a little over valued. UFC still has a whole world to take over so the growth potential outweighs the risk. Thanks for the content!

Love this episode!!!! Here's my vote and why if you guys want to hear why: I'd invest in Ferrari (RACE) b/c it's a value stock imo it has great fundamentals and technical qualities (looking at the chart and earnings) it might seemed overvalued right now b/c it's at ath but it's chart seems to always be in an uptrend one draw back if you use RH they don't let you trade RACE so you'd have to use fidelity, Charles Schwab etc. I think TKO has great fundamentals but the technicals aren't so great however it may be too soon to say since the merger was recent and they have a bunch of scandals (their earnings are 2/27 so maybe it'll turn around) it's fairly "cheap" right now and I can definitely see it being a meme stock like GameStop was so it go through the roof if all your commentors really invest in it and it's more accessible to invest in than RACE (I am going to make a mental note and write down how much $1000 worth of each stock will be worth in 5-10 years) great job guys 🙌🙌🙌

Ferrari and Lamborghini are very similar. A friend of mine tried to buy a brand new Urus and they told him that since he was a first time owner he needed to buy one that was used lol. (To be fair those cars only have like 2000 miles on it)

Shaan wins the presentation... but Ferrari... Three things about Ferrari. 1. 13k cars produced was their largest production year ever because they launched their first SUV last year, I believe. But they normally limit their production. 2. Ferrari couldn't care less if the young kids aren't interested in cars since they couldn't afford a Ferrari anyway and most customers are already being turned away. 3. In Italy, Enzo Ferrari was more popular than the Pope. And Ferrari as a brand is sacred as well. Great show guys!

For me Shaan won. Brilliant analysis and find. I think for the Ferrari one it doesn't tick the "growing market" box. While the company grows, the fuel engine economy shrinks. In the future these cars will be banned in cities and maybe even countries. Maybe they will then cost even more but who knows.
Well, Ferrari can sell a car colour option for £200K +. Also, there was a time when Acer offered laptops with Ferrari branding.

Ferrari wins for sure. Can recommend checking out the factory in Modena too. But you got the Lamborghini origin wrong. Lamborghini wanted to partner up because his Ferrari’s always had bad clutches and he thought he could fix it. Enzo wasn’t interested.

Just to add to the downside of TKO, UFC is falling off star wise, I don't think there are any fighers on there that the average joe knows any more. WWE is on an uptrend but it's marred by the lawsuit, which could take down the catalyst of the uptrend, Triple H, if he's involved with Vince McMahon - Which he could be since he's his son in law and gave a pretty bad response to the whole thing.

I wouldn't trust management of $TKO as far as The Rock could pick them up and throw them.
That said, on a trading basis, it does have a MACD bullish divergence right now.
This could be a bearish-bullish reversal & part of a cup & handle above 96.85, or a head & shoulders top below about 75.56
There is also a bearish noodle reversal forming on the double cross Hindenburg
