Thank you TP! Just awesome!👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed!!!
Great video, Tim. Thanks for sharing. I loved hearing you chat with folks from behind the camera!
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Great video. Great models kits in the video love going to the swap meets you get good buys
Thanks 👍 Yes, you can always find a good buy at the swap meets!
My favorite part of the model show, the vendors.
I agree Alan!!
Cool stuff right there
I agree!!!
WOWSERZ ‼️‼️ Thanks Tim and Have a Blessed Week Ahead Brother 🤗🤗.
Thank you and you too Gary!
Love the video, I got to see everything, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it Dale!
OMG!! IF, I had a thousand dollars to spend, I'd leave wishing I could have bought just just a few more.
We have a toy show where I live, spring and fall that was canceled '20 because of covid. It's returning June '22, going to be an epic event for us collectors!!😃👍
Oh heck yea George!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice meet seen a few I would have got that were not at the swap meet in Salisbury this week end thanks for the video
Cool!!!!!!!!!!
Good improvement with coverage - slowing enough to catch $$ legibly as cam scanning obliterates it - surely tough to keep it in mind when actually there with all that eye candy!
And including the truck kits too, Thanks!
Thank you for the kind words!!! 🙂👍😉
Thanks for the video Tim. Seen a lot of good kits. Now I know why I don’t go to the shows. I’d have to sell my car to get those kits I seen. 🤣🤣🤣. Have a good weekend Tim.
Right on Robert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂👍
My kind of swap there!! Like seeing the vintage plastic out on the tables. Don't see it much here anymore..
I completely agree Doc!
Wish I could have been there today. I think I saw my friend, Bill Crowder, walking around in the background. I would have loved to spend some money there! Maybe next year.
It was a good time Rick, they said there will be a show later this year also!
Thats allot of killer kits
I agree!
Cool video
Those 1/8th scale kits are on my grail list!
Cool that you got Bill Paxton to do the voice over too
Awesome thank you Chris!
Hey what's up Tim !!! Great video, sorry I missed out on the contest ! 😇👍🏼
Hey Tony, good to hear from you!!!!! 🙂
Good video. Hope to see some of these vendors at the Roanoke show.
Yes, that would be nice!
I took that Devastator monster truck home with me, along with the Christine pro-stock car.
Aaaaaaaa super cool Jason!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The engine in Christine is very nice and if I remember right the carbs are great.
The Monogram '59 Cadillac Eldorado @ 10:32 is oh so close to what I've been searching for which is a 60 series 1962 Cadillac Convertible 😕
Great video and thanks for the tour 👍
Right on John! 😉👍
Nice window shopping. Lots of neat stuff for sale there. Thanks for sharing.
Cool!!!!!!!!!!
Damm I can't wait to see what you bought because I know what I would have bought! Lol
I know!!
Lots of nice stuff there especially those old Monogram and some rare MPC kits for a great price. Great place to go if they come near you, better than Ebay sellers gouging $20 plus to ship a few ounces of plastic.
Yes, I agree!!!!!!!
I know this was 5 mo. ago but MY GOD! there's some real treasure's in there. That JoHan Cadillac Ambulance, Tom Daniels Tijuana Taxi, that 61 Oldsmobile wagon (the thumbnail). And there were some very nice built up kits, that one you picked up and looked at (yellow gasser) I would have grabbed that. A lot of promo's I would grabbed too. When I finally make it to a swap meet I'm hoping for a selection like this.
Cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1:09 look at all those 4th gen Camaros!
👍👍🙂
Nice tim johan 👍 some amazing built kits and some kits for sale johans you show too
Thanks Keith! 👍
Dang man what a great selection of kits old kits and new kits very very cool thank you for sharing
I agree!!
Another great video Tim! Appreciate the slowing down when going past the kits to see legibly what the prices were on certain kits. EBay is always trecherous with pricing and it’s nice to see what vendors have for pricing. I saw the Bill Elliott #9 Dodge from early 2000’s for $25 in your video. That kit is going for $70+ on eBay. I’m a builder and enjoy paying a good price to build the kit. Not collector pricing to build a kit.
Hi sent you an email about that kit maybe I can help you out
Cool, I thought you might like that better Brandon!!!!!!!!!
Lots of kits. Love the promos
Same here!
Wow that’s awesome some cool old kits. Great selection. Thanks for sharing Tim 👊🤘👍
I agree Frank!
Looks like the prices weren't too bad I saw a few I'd like to have
I agree!
Dang that’s good size swap meet!!! I appreciate the way you do the videos so we can actually see what’s there lol! 👍🏻
Thank you for the kind words..... 😉🙂👍
Looks like some decent deals to be had. Love browsing the swap meet area. Thanks for sharing TIM.
Yes there was Skip!
and that revell 1960 impala too
Another good buy!
I just wanna buy em all…lol
I agree Terry!
Saw several kits that I have been looking for......the Ed Roth "Mysterian" - the Monogram "Boot Hill Express" and several others.
I have seen the Boot Hill Express several times on eBay.....but they are always missing the skeleton !!
Yep, I was thinking that when I was reading what you wrote. But where do all the skeletons go????? Because I never see them or hear about guys using them???? ☠ ☠ ☠ Oh well, hopefully they will reissue the kit.
Wonderful video Tim. I wish they did more shows around here. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Glad you enjoyed it Vic!
Lord help me if I ever went to a model swap meet and they had that many Jo-Han kits! I've always loved their off the beaten path subjects.
So true, they are the best!!
This show proof that good kits at great prices are out there.
I agree Bob!
Tim, that show seems to be larger than ACME, especially the Vendor area. I have never seen so many built kits for sale, man, that was a TON of kits/parts for sale...thanks for sharing...
Yes, the Vendor area was bigger.
That was great Tim! Seen a few I would like to have! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Thanks for the great video of the vendors and their kit offerings Tim. I think you have more there than JAXCON. I like all the JoHan and Tom Daniel's kits. One kit sticks in my head after watching your footage, The JoHan Rebel Machine for $160🙂
Thanks for the kind words David!!! Yep, the ol' JoHan Rebel........................ 🙂👍
Love the bagged kits. perfect for cheapos like me!!! A Statue Of Liberty model kit ( 4:00 ) ??!!! Can you imagine customizing that build??!! Would it be anti-American??!!
So true Pam!!!!!!
LOTSA great stuff there, I would’ve needed a bigger car to haul home everything I saw that I would’ve wanted (and I drive a Charger 🤪🤣)
I agree!!!!
I could go broke quick fast and in a hurry there. Lol. Hey Tim. Have you ever seen or heard of a kit called Quick Silver. I think it was a 60s model Chevy wagon kit but don’t remember for sure. I know growing up that was the kit to have and I would love to find one. Haven’t seen that kit in forever. Keep up the great work!!!
Oh yes Bruce, good ol' Monogram Tom Daniel design!!! That kit was the (orange) Street Fighter that came out in the early 70's. Then about 73 was (silver) Quick Silver. About 1980 was (white) the Bad Actor then in 2000 was a Street Fighter II. After that they brought back out Street Fighter in 2009.
@@THROTTLEPOWER that awesome. Did not know that. I’ll have to keep my eyes open for one of those kits and grab one up and get it built. Thank a bunch Tim. I appreciate the info.
@@brucechapman5553 👍👍👍
@@brucechapman5553 It wouldn't surprise me if they rerelease that kit. Which version, who knows, or maybe a new version. But I'm guessing they will rerelease one.
@@THROTTLEPOWER very true. Let’s hope so. Lol.
It was fun window shopping with you Tim. Now I'm curious, What came home with you?
Just a couple kits and detail sets Rick.
Your doing a great job I’m just getting back into the hobby at 56 I built a lot as a pre teen competed at Carl Casper way back then and it’s so great to see that the hobby is as strong now as I’ve ever seen it
Welcome back to the hobby Joey and thank you for the kind words! 🙂😉👍
👍👍
👍👍👍😉

There is a model car show coming up in March this year just outside of Detroit, MI. I’m sure you can get some good finds and video content there. I’ll be there, let me know if you want details.
Cool, when is it Chris?
@@THROTTLEPOWER , it’s on March 27th. Detroit Area Auto Modelers puts it on. There should be more details on their Facebook.
@@ScaleModelCarBuilder Ok thank you Chris.
Thanks for making our show and swap meet look good!!! If you ever want any of us putting the show on to talk about it, just let me know. Thanks again sir!!
Really enjoyed the show Andrew, looking forward to the next one!!!
Great to see a video showing all the kits slowly and clearly, this show would be complete sensory overload for me. Interesting to see how cheap promos have become and how expense the non-muscle car, kid-built in the box originals now are. The original issue Jo-Han prices are really rocketing up, nice to see Okie still has a lot of good stuff to offer.
Thank you for the kind words!! Yep, Okie has some pretty cool stuff... 😉🙂👍
Malco Gasser Mustang & 33 willys for me please....lol
Oh yea!!!!!!!!!!! 👍🙂
ISO. 71-76 Caprice/Impala kits any conditions
👍👍👍
Any swap meets around Indiana coming up
Great coverage as usual 👏
Thanks a lot 😊
love seeing the prices. I see kits on ebay that are reasonably priced but once shipping is added, forget about it. that's a huge advantage with these shows, no shipping. plus you get to see and touch before buying.
Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing like checking it out in person before you buy it and NO shipping charge..... 👍👍👍
Didn't know this show was happening, would have attended if I knew. Where do they advertise these shows?
I knew about it because it was close to me Tony. Where are you at?
dam someone pick up that revell 1959 impala please
Exactly!
Cool video Tim, I love a good swap meet, weather it be 1/24 scale or 1/1 scale!
I agree Jeff!!!
I wish there was something like this coming to South Tx or even the Houston area….I saw over a dozen kits I’d like to get my hands on!!
I agree, there needs to be more shows.
@@THROTTLEPOWER there really does need to be more shows!! I saw so many kits here that I’ve seen on EBay and these sellers want crazy money for them, had I been at a show like this one, I would have needed a shopping cart because I would’ve left with about 2 dozen kits!!
👍👍✌✌
👍👍👍🙂
Wish I had been there. Did you get the tractor and wagon?
It was fun Kevin.... No, but I keep looking at it several times.
Where/how do you find all the model car meets and the like?
Thru the local hobby shop and model clubs and various other places...... That is probably the most asked question I get. If you would like I will do a video on that, I know my Wife says I should. Let me know what you think?
@@THROTTLEPOWER yes please do. I live in Indiana and would love to attend some of those shows.
@@mrdraven3857 I made that video... Let me know what you think about it. So far everyone seems to like it.
Need permission to download this great swap meet. Please
Sure
$? On all the nice builtup funny cars etc?
Those were really nice! I asked how much they were and he said "All different prices".
Don't you love that!
@@stephendoing2253 👍👍👍🙂
I’m interested inking to a swap meet in San Diego in June. Would I find something like this at that event?
What type of swap meet is it David? Model Car swap meet, a "real" car parts swap meet or a "bring anything" type swap meet where there is usually more house hold goods then anything else?
@@THROTTLEPOWER it is , specifically, a scale model swap meet, so I’m hoping the layout looks something like this video. Decent prices for good kits.
@@davidebert8034 Oh well heck yea!!! The older and hard to find kits have been starting to show up more and more at these model swap meets. Unfortunately that is because guys have gotten older and gave up the hobby and/or died off so their collection shows up at these shows. As far as other (more common) kits, it's a GREAT place to get them!! You can actually look and see what you are getting and you don't have to pay any shipping!!! Hope you have fun David and good luck for great finds!! Let me know how it works out.... 🙂😉
@@davidebert8034 Oh, and another cool thing about going to these is you always come across a kit or two you never even knew existed. Always amazes me HOW MANY different kits and subjects have been done over the years.
@@THROTTLEPOWER thanks for the advice! I’ll let you know how it goes. I’m also getting ready to go to Japan where I’ll take a vacation, and buy about 2,000 bucks worth of Tamiya kits-cars and jets. I’ll have to wait for the Wuhan virus to stop.👍
Back at the church?
Yes
Lot of empty tables?
A few, but filled up as the morning went on.
