I was affected by the first one when we had tornado warning for our part of Indiana
So GFS shows a possible tropical system heading to Houston June 16?
July could be active too. Time will tell
The 2005 season had two named storms in June
European model indicates the possibility of two tropical systems
I mean, just think of it this season could potentially be a top 10 season part of the reason why we have record warm temperatures it’s not only because of climate change, but also of the Hunga Tonga underwater volcano that happened in January 2022 at released a lot of water vapor in the atmosphere remember, it only takes one landfall storm for someone have an active season. Right now I’m forecasting four to six US landfalls and impacts.

My FINAL 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season Predictions:
28 Named Storms
16 Hurricanes
8 Major Hurricanes
3 Category 5 Hurricanes
I think we get a max of 3 named storms between now and mid August in the Atlantic. After that I think we could see activity explode with 18-19 named storms. Just think there will be a few month lag as a neutral and then La Niña develops.
We are at least going to see upwards of 20 named systems.
I also believe we will.
When you have models that don't agree look for any trends
European model is indicating that possibility
The European model is starting to indicate possible development in next two weeks
We weren't hit by a tornado but we had to take cover
The CAG must produce a storm. or two
This season could be the 2020 season on steroids
In at least two to four hypothetical 2024 Atlantic hurricane season videos we had four to six named storms development in a short time and went from the 'm' storm to the 't' storms and all the way to the 'v' storm.
Will south Florida going to get a hurricane this year
