- Welcome to a chat with me on advice about classes and internships! Here are some academic and professional lessons I learned while getting my degree in computer science, math, and statistics at UC Berkeley.
By the way, I know I was pretty hand-wavy in this video. If you’d like me to cover something in more detail, let me know in the comments!

Electrical engineering and computer sciences, at Berkeley no less, would have already been impresssive...but then you tacked on applied math and statistics? At a school with top departments in all of those fields? That is borderline insane. You are legend.
This video is incredibly helpful! I’m a CA community college transfer looking into Applied Math so your descriptions of the upper-div math classes were super informative, thank you!
Glad it helped!
I just transferred to UC Berkeley in Applied Math. If you have questions about transferring I can help you!
@@hellogoodbye637 heyyyy ik its a year later but what kind of ec's did you do if you don't mind me asking! Currently ive just been tutoring along with some other programs but I'm not sure if they are enough :/
Congratulations!!! ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Getting a degree alone in EECS is good enough achievement in Cal.
Real caviat pursuing triple major is that advisor can't even assist this unprecedented situation.
P.S: You are making our life tough by setting the bar high. Lol
I’m a berkeley student, and these schedules are insane… I feel like I can’t even keep up with 3 technical courses but wtf girl is out here taking 5 techs, triple major, humanities, and one of the techs is graduate level… (omg that’s actually insane)
ALSO WTF “chill semester” = 4 techs, if u aren’t a berkeley student, this is absolutely absurd😖
My jaw has dropped
I know ! This is insane
Amazing! Congrats on completing 3 majors.
Thanks Michelle!
excellent video. Great to learn about classes and content.
Thanks, Rick 😊
michelle wow!! ur too smart 🤩🤩
Haha thanks Keshan ☺️
Thanks for this wonderful video.. This surely helped my brother Deepak Hegde who is about to join Berkeley..
Thanks for sharing!
My Gosh, you ar a genius
3:11 for daddy denero
Waking up at 8,has been my everest too.
Yeah I have about a million alarm clocks for that LOL
Girl HOW? I’m out here dying with 2 eecs classes per semester
Do you have any advice for transfer students looking into double or even triple majoring? Is that possible at Berkeley?
Bravo 👏
You did a super great job! Btw, when did you take PHYSICS 7C?
I’ve never taken it actually!
@@elleismatic Thanks for your reply! Then, how could you fulfill the "A natural Science course with Lab" requirement?
U r relentless. Here I'm struggling with two upper-div's (152, 170)
No pain, no gain 🙃 spoken like a true gym bro
teach me your ways! I want to be as cool as you!
Hahaha nothing sleep deprivation can’t solve
Glad to see more cal reps here!! GO BEARS!!
always 😂 repping Oski
Such a Queen ❤️ go bears 🐻
💕
Interesting, I wonder what kind of work an AI engineer at Two Sigma would take up on a daily basis? Maybe that could be your next video :P
I'll probably do a "what I do in a day" routine some time haha!
is there a link/resource to learn cs/or anything else from ucb as an non student
Usually I recommend CS 61A which is the beginning CS class for CS majors: cs61a.org
as a non ucb student after i finish learning cs61a from the website you gave, what do i do after, what are more links/resources to learn
I think this is a pretty good graph of the CS classes offered at Berkeley: hkn.eecs.berkeley.edu/courseguides
elleismatic is that a list of just classes road map or actual links to learn? i want to continue learning after 61a as a non ucb student
It’s a road map of all the classes. They’re all online so you can google “CS 61b Berkeley” for example and the class page will probably be within the first three search results
berkeley students and berkeley grads always have this certain dry moist humor, go bears
😂 probably a cross between an overly competitive learning environment and inhaling too much weed smoke and our way to cope with the growing homelessness problem...jk
wth, you r triple major???
