- This is an International version of Steve Hackett's beautiful piece Spectral Mornings. We tried to be faithful to the original but, add our own feeling to the mix.

Well it made me cry as much as the original, so it must have been good.
Maria will be guesting with BIG BIG TRAIN in September 2023 around Europe - if you don’t know BIG BIG TRAIN and you like this you will love them.
Four decades now listening to this and never got tired of it, well done folks a nice tribute to the wonderful Mr Steve Hackett you did him justice with this!

I note the way Maria places her left thumb behind the fret board. That’s a sign of a well trained and a truly accomplished guitarist.
Lately i've become a little annoyed at the flood of Genesis tributes but this Hackett performance brought tears to my eyes. Very well performed. Great drum sound. Great keyboard sound. And wonderful guitar work. I get emotional because 40-50 years ago i sat in my room drilling these albums while everybody else was outside playing. I'm proud of myself as a young teenager for liking this style of music. And now in my 60's i see this flood of recognition for this music. I knew then that this type of music was special. I saw Hackett on Lamb tour in '75. On Wuthering tour '77. And with Steve Howe GTR in the '80s.

LOVE Greg's shirt. The long lost Slims in SF. I loved that venue and saw so many great bands there. No venue will ever have 2 posts on either side of the stage right in the way of the artist. Such a shitty design but regardless, a venue that will be missed.
