For anyone wondering what the dnd one was all about, basically he used a mind control spell to counter the bards revive WITH THE BARD. Basically, he made the bard counter his own spell

The grudge building was built because 2 brothers inherited a piece of land to share equally, but one of them got greedy and built a large house over the majority, leaving the other brother only a sliver. He built the grudge to block the view of the brother who robbed him of part of his inheritance.

10:44 Basically the Bard casted revivify (a resurrection spell), the DM had an enemy use dominate person (a mind control spell) on the Bard, the mind controlled Bard used counter spell (a spell that causes other spells to fail) on his own revivify to stop it.
Its basically an overly complicated and far more insulting way to cancel the party's healing.
Explanation of the D&D one:
Dominate Person is a spell which lets you control someone else.
Counterspell is a spell that you cast to interrupt someone casting a spell- it prevents it from occurring.
Revivify is a spell that raises someone from the dead, but only if they died in the last minute. It’s cheaper than other revival spells with longer windows of time, but it’s still hella expensive (300 gold instead of like 500 for raise dead).
Depending on the DM’s rules and how cruel they are, the 300 gold for the revivify may have been consumed before the spell was nullified, wasting them and requiring them to cast it again. If that was the case, that would be a _real_ Satan moment.
I would do that repeatedly, but force them to carry the body around for the rest of the trip. Suffer.
It's particularly insulting too because you get to pick your own spells. That bard picked counter spell, but it got used against him instead
Its also the lowest level resurrection spell so that pc could be dead for quite a while if its up to the party to bring them back if they need to get to 7th level spells from 3rd level since raise dead is limited to being dead for less than 10 days
Yeah. Revivify, additionally, has a VERY limited time frame where it will work. Normally, only if the person dies in either the last minute or hour, if I remember correctly.
So, it's entirely possible that the character didn't get a chance to revive again, even if the bard had a third 3rd level spell slot. Which, btw, is another kick in the teeth here. Counterspell can only counter spells of its level or lower, which means that the DM didn't just counterspell the bard's revive spell, but ALSO WASTED AN ADDITIONAL SPELL SLOT ON TOP OF THAT.

Here it is: I have always loved Pokémon cards, so on my birthday (or idk I don’t remember when I got it) I wanted a very rare Pokémon pack (I think it was evolutions) so when I got the presents my dad came with the pack and said “is this how you open these” and cut it with scissors but in the middle so every card was cut, and I was super scared that it would be a rare card that was destroyed. But it was f*cking cardboard in the pack, my dad had opened the pack and replaced the cards with cardboard. Dad, you f*cking genius.

Not exactly what happened to me, but the soccer ball "prank" at 10:21 is basically what caused all the structures in my foot to collapse after I kicked a solid wood door by accident; I didn't know it was there, thought there was just a drape. I spent a year bed-ridden because the injury kept developing abscesses and I kept having surgery to debride the area. After so many times (the podiatrist wanted to do a reconstruction, but that really wouldn't have restored function) I ended up getting a below knee amputation. I can walk again with a prosthesis, but I lost all strength and endurance from being bed-ridden for so long. I'm in my forties, so I don't bounce back like when I was young. I still am unable to work, fighting trying to get disability, and have spent almost my entire retirement savings.
Yeah. Don't leave a cement soccer ball where someone might inadvertently kick it with all their might. Their life could be seriously ruined.

For me it was yet _another_ "gas bubble" which happened occasionally in my youth. The pain was severe but my mother insisted on dragging me around the city to run errands rather than let me suffer in peace at home, cozy air conditioning and Pepto if needed. Nope. It was a triple digit hot summer day (very common in the 90s where I'm at) and we were at a K-Mart or Target. She found a parking spot and got out. I let one fly right in the car then got out and closed the door, sealing this gaseous monstrosity in a Toyota Corolla E90 which itself was baking in the summer heat at high noon.
Fast forward some time and we left the store. We loaded the trunk, I put the cart in the corral, she got in and... well, I can't recall what she was yelling about but I was almost grounded. But hey, she was *well aware* of my ailment so it shouldn't have come as a big surprise. Why raise a big stink over something out of my control? ... so to speak?

Last one for you EmKay, there are things called Automotive Dollies, they go under the wheels of a car and enable you to move it around, just a matter of lifting up each corner of the car, either by jack or a strong person, to place them under the wheel.
Edit to add, there is also one that is a jack/dolly that works on hydraulics, just requires your foot to operate the jack section.

At the local racetrack some idiots parked their (locked) car in front of someone's pit. Needless to say their car wasn't there when they got back.
There is a wheel dolly that doesn't even need a jack. It has a fork that goes at the front and back of the tire and pinches the tire to raise it.

Back in our college days we used to have a book with answers to previous years questions (we called it a guide book), and it was humongous.
Me and a couple of my friends took money from our parents for one book each (was expensive), bought one book amongst us, split it into multiple chapters so each of us had a few "parts" and just told our parents it was easier to carry the material we needed that way.
We studied together anyways so it didn't matter. Easy pocket money bonus.
One time there was a person I knew was cheating off me on a test. I finished, they finished handed it to the teacher, and I looked at themm as I erased my answers and put the right answers, they realized I had put the wrong ones when it was too late.
I am a book murderer too! One day in high school, my friend forgot her course book and our teacher was checking if we brought our books. I had the book and the idea. Pulled out my cutter and just cut my book in half. We opened a random page and it looked like we had two whole books in front of us. I still have the backpack I accidentally scarred 😄

I've got an idea for people who park on the edge of parking spots. We fill the gaps between the spots with little hills visible enough to know they are there, but still flat enough for the car to get its wheels onto. If these little hills detect that enough pressure is being applied to the top most part, tiny spikes protrude from the hill and pop the tires. Should help in the long run. 😁

so basically he took control of a player and used their own spells to make sure a dead player stayed dead.

I mean, if each piece has its own cover, that's not too different from a book coming in two separate parts
