Jeez, stop asking footballers to talk about the pandemic. Get a bit more creative and give people the football escape they crave. New commentators on old games - High Definition quality on old classics - Interviews with legends - More 'Football's Greatest' episodes - Today's analysis on some of the best games in history. Anything! Anything but having to listen to this.

£6.5m 20 years ago is not £100m today. What does that make Shearer's £15m move 25 years ago? £300m? 🙄
EDIT: it's too much effort to reply to each comment, but just to be clear, I don't think transfers fees align with inflation but that's got nothing to do with Hartson overvaluing himself ridiculously. He sold for a reported £6.5m in 1999. To put that into comparison:
Christian Vieri: approx. £35m in 1999
Luis Figo: approx. £55m in 2000
    Hernan Crespo: approx. £55m 2000
Anyone who still thinks Hartson would be £100m is off their rocker lol. That would make Vieri £600m, so like 3x Mbappe 😂

Tell me what world class CF goes for 30 Million in 2020?

Hartson was an animal, and Welsh. Seems to be a common trait in those from that part of the UK. Natural instinct is to lash out and ask questions later. And as for wanting to wear the iconic LFC shirt hahaha not a chance, you were no where near good enough or possessed the right attitude to be included in any LFC squad at any time, Maybe Leeds or Everton but you do not have the required standards that playing for a great club demands thats why you played for outfits like west ham and celtic because they do not have standards and will take anybody

Alright....look....£100m? No. Just no. But to be fair, Andy Carroll went for £35m before things got too mental. Mid-contract at the height of his powers, Hartson could definitely go for £50m in today's market. Hell you could overpay at £60m-£65m and nobody would bat an eyelid.
He was a strong character, good front man, could lead a line confidently and had a goal in him. He's worth half as much as he thinks in today's market, just like a lot of professional footballers who retired, he reckons he was twice as good as he really was
