I find Balboas regularly in Florida....mostly 1973 and 1975. Have a complete roll now and one of my 75s is Gem! Also, last week I found a 25 Balboa looking through quarters, a 1970. Thanks for the great info and video!
I don't find them very often at all, but I do find a few every year. First time for this commemorative though.
I have been picking up 4 boxes of halves weekly since March 2023 and finding a decent amount of silver and actually had a proof dump of 42 beautiful clad proofs. In Sept, I decided to pick up 8 boxes a week as I have a great relationship with my bank along with 2 boxes of quarters. Since I have doubled my boxes, I am finding a lot less! Go figure ..I am wondering if maybe Brinks had to go to a different place to pick up. Any thoughts? BTW...still finding an occasional W quarter but rarely any silver quarters. Ty again!
Sometimes it works out that way. I have been getting 2-3 boxes of halves a week most of this year and its been pretty steady. Only a couple of "big" scores this year but steady silver in the havles. Quarters have been tough. I will find a W or 2 every week for months and then none for a month or 2. Again, I only do 1 box a week or so of Quarters (2 on a good week). I used to do 8 boxes a week, but it was too much volume with work and little kids. 2-4 is a great number for me. Its awesome if you can get them and keep up with it though. One of these days getting 8 will pay off.

@Akborn81 is a channel member and they get early access to just about every video. I have 2 videos in queue that members have all seen and commented on. Yep. I waffled on that during the video because I just couldn’t remember but you are right the bicentennial can come in 40%.
Does the banks charge you for the boxes or do you get them face value? A lot of people are doing the the half dollar hunt now days. Cool find
I don't pay any fees. Some people are getting hit with fees to either buy or sell back to the bank. Just depends on the bank, where you live, your volume, etc. More and more people are also getting cut off.
