The v30 and v35 to me was and still is one of the best designed phones. 18:9 aspect ratio, thin and very lightweight! The only improvements I would make is stereo speakers and a 6.2 inch screen.

I just bought a second hand LG V35, the performance is excellent for it's price, it's better than the S9 but similar to Note 9.
I owned many phones such as iPhone 12 Pro Max and Galaxy S22, I love to try different phones and this LG for it's price is a bargain!

LG V35 my daily driver, recently bought a LG v60 last month but haven't transitioned yet. The power button on the back was a very nice touch.

Have a Note 20 Ultra as my daily driver but still find myself coming back to this phone from time to time. Had it when it was new and still love it today. Wish they were still around and actually developed their Desktop Experience to be like or better than Samsung.

I dropped mine in alfredo sauce and had to literally wash it in the sink. I ran water through the charge port and everything and it still works to this day. I love it. This phone is easily one of the most slept on devices.

$80 for close to the best CZcams-watching phone screen money can buy. Like I don't know many phones with a screen that can offer a more perfect experience than this notchless 18:9 1440x2880 OLED for CZcams.
It's extremely compact, not having a single extra pixel more than you need in height, compared to most phones offering 19, 20, 21 and even 22:9 screens that are of little use for this, and this also means usable watching space will be bigger than a lot of phones with 6.7 inch screens.

The LG V35 is not just an exclusive ATT phone, I purchased mine when I started using Google Fi. At the time, Fi said only certain phones had all the necessary supported tech for global use, the ones they carried were approved. So, I purchased it from their store. It's a great phone. I switched from it due to needing a dual sim phone, carrying two phones was cumbersome and my V35 was not dual sim. It is better than nearly all of the upper mid-range phone in performance but wins the day with best in class audio and a great camera setup. Fortunately, I can still use it internationally with Fi since I don't take the dual sim phone when I leave North America on travel.

Excellent review! I've owned the LG G8X for 2 yrs. under Sprint. Sprint was CDMA which T-Mobile has done away with so I'm not going to be able to use it on T-M. I went on ebay and found a GSM version that will work for $128 in perfect condition. My main reason for staying with the G8X is the super quality DAC (Digital-2-Analog Converter). It was designed in agreement to play MQA(Master Quality Audio) files on Qobuz & Tidal without using a dongle. Also, if you open the Developer Mode You can adjust the Bluetooth to LDAC up to 990kbps which most Android phones at this price range won't do. Few reviewers ever discuss this attribute which is a big deal to audiophiles. Thanks for talking up LG phones. Many of us will use them till there are no more. S.G.

The V35 is still a nice phone. There is a retail version (V350ULM) which is unlocked and free of any carrier bloatware. Unfortunately the V350ULM didn't get the Android 10 update. I have owned one since 2020 and it's been great. I have just replaced it with a V50 which is on Android 12.

Love my LG V35. Unfortunately, I flashed my phone to the Google FI KDZ/ROM and you can't go back. So I'm stuck on Android 9. I heard you could go to the Korean Android 10 but I don't want to run that version because of the shutter sound always being enabled and wifi calling having issues.
My battery started going bad so I replaced it. Tried 8 batteries and not a single one works as well as the OEM. They are all 3000mAh or less, according to accubattery. My phone battery I'm currently uses gets pretty warm and the phone gets laggy. I'm not sure if something is dying on my motherboard, like the cpu or something, or if it's the bad quality battery.
That's the biggest issue I have with Android phones. Complete lack of long-term support and parts become scarce latter on. Not to mention not a single new battery for the LG v35 has been made since 2020, so everything has been sitting on the shelf, degrading this whole time. If I had money I'd finally upgrade my device to something with a 120hz screen and a bit better battery.

The lack of support, nonetheless sketchy vague info online is what made me move on from the V35 I daily drove for 2.5 years, hopped around from a few devices, and am actually thinking of getting another, I currently was given an iphone SE 2nd gen cheap by my carrier since my LG G8 wasn't compatible with VoLTE sadly since I was lied to online by the seller claiming it was factory unlocked, when it was originally Tmobile, just gsm unlocked which for some really weird reason wouldn't work with VoLTE....the V35 was a weird frankenstein of a phone, it was basically the guts of an LG G7, with 2gb extra ram for 6gb total, in a V30's body lol. My fingerprint sensor died and battery life was getting meh. The total and complete lack of answers I tried finding online like do I buy a G7 or V30 fingerprint sensor since there were no true V35 ones for sale....same question with the battery, do I get a G7's or V30's...then the myriad of low quality 3rd party parts being sold littered all over the internet don't help. I know I'm fed up with this small iphone though, as a grown man I find it cramped to type on, no expandable storage, no headphone jack, and I don't like having to click a physical home button, and small battery capacity means meh irl usage out of it too lol.

Watching this on my LG V35 ✌ hooked to my Sennheiser Momentum 2 headphone. This is the last LG phone with B&O tuning, the sound through the headphone jack IMHO is better than the G7 and G8.

LG V35 is still a nice phone, I had V30 1,5 years ago as my main device, still it can do the basic stuff well while this is a better version of it, so easily a good device for under 200 or under 150
