I have played Sonic.
He feels VERY bad in my hands. I HATE his air speed and his jumps are way worse than all of my other characters' lol. He is obviously top tier but I just hate his optimal play style. I do love watching Sonic though... well, the really good ones like Sonix.

That’s cool. Sorry if Sonic is hard to control for you. The way I see it, Sonic’s who mained him from the start have an easier time controlling him because they don’t have to adjust at a later period. It’s actually the same thing for me. Back when I decided to learn other characters for fun, it was REALLY hard because Sonic as a character has no transferable skills. But I got over it and my Marcina kinda cooks against lower level players since I haven’t labbed them yet. It was nice hearing your experience though, even if it was less than fun.

I don't know if this is a troll or not. I am assuming it is not. If I were trying to play this game competitively I would definitely not main Marth. I love the character, but he just does not have what it takes. I'm at 14.2 Mil GSP with him and I have to try so much harder than most of the other people I play to win. My original main was Chrom when the game came out, then I went Link, then Lucina, then Marth. All the characters I like suck, but I think Link has the most potential out of them all.
Marth does destroy a few characters though: I think he beats Kazuya, Joker, and Roy. I think the Cloud matchup is even. Short characters are definitely a problem for him though. I think Corrin/Toon Link would be a good duo to main.
