I was always taught as a little guy to fish troll right along the edge of the ice when the ice is coming off. It can be the best fishing all year. Glad to see you hook up to some nice fish. Congrats on your biggest rainbow, I still remember the day I caught my biggest bow about 17 years ago.
There should be an apron that sits across front of the float tube. It really helps with keeping fly line out of water. All of those bows were super healthy. Great job dude. 🔥🎣💯💯
Geez man. It could be the camera, but I reckon you underestimate the size of your fish by a pound or two sometimes. Need to get a fish weighing thingy.
We Love watching you catch these huge fish! However, please bring a scale and measure points on your rod. How do you know these are some of the biggest fish you caught without weight or measurement? You're fun to watch, but we would love to know at least the weight.
Is this a private lake? Just curious because if it was here and it was public and that good fishing...there would be people shoulder to shoulder fishing it!!! Great video. Nice fish!!
That trout had to be at least 8, my pb is 7lb and 25 inches and she had to be around the same length but fatter, Great catch man, Love your content!!!

Have no idea where you are - I live in Texas but do trout fishing in Arkansas, mostly the White River. Those little stocker rainbows cooked your way would make a great shore lunch with some beans and home fries. Hmmmm!
Nice I caught a couple good ones over the years, but I will always remember the golden rainbow trout. She’s been sitting there in the same spot for 4 years until last year I finally caught it and I hanged it up. She’s about 19 inches how I pretty much caught. It was me, and my grandfather and my best friend go out to our little fishing Hutting camp we went down to a farm and my grandfather dropped a white power bait and I picked it up. We saw the trout there. She was wouldn’t grab it, so we waited till we were about to leave. My grandfather had a white bait and I was using a white coach dog The fish kept going back-and-forth back-and-forth nibbling at it until I had an idea I had the power bait in my pocket, so I put it on the hook first cast, nothing second cast bam but hey, I’m just another fisherman and hey, we all have luck fishing either with us or away from us. They will always be with the fishing.
