Episode 7 was a total laugh-fest for me. A lot of factors of the anime were unintentionally hilarious in retrospect.

KEY is pretty self-aware as a studio. The level of trolling that episode had was on a meta scale. Ayumi's character was also a very elaborate meta wink/nudge. If you seen enough of their record, you could sense her fate from a mile away. Once you watch the show beyond the surface level, it's one of their best yet.

I usually despise dubs in comparison to the original voice acting but this sounds surprisingly good. Hope it lives up to expectations! I'll be looking forward to it!
Charlotte- This anime is absolute awesome. I would recommend this to everyone to take a look at. This is kinda my first sad anime which touched my heart. It could at times make you laugh ,at times serious, at times it could make you think about life itself .The genera and the story of this is awesome.
THE ANIMATION, SONG, QUALITY, ETC! BEST EVER!
I LOVE IT VERY VERY MUCH.
But the way the producers made the ending of the first season, Its like all ending. But then also I want to see a next season of this anime to confirm that all memories of Yuu Otosaka gone with plundering the abilities should come back and live a love, happy and peaceful life with Nao Tomori as they promised each other to be lovers forever.
This would make me the most happy for this anime.
So to confirm this, its a humble request to producers ( those who are watching my comment ) Please make Second season of the Charlotte anime. Yeah many seasons with new ideas would be better but if you guys are thinking of only one then please make a second season confirming the topic said in the previous para.

Quite a good looking dub. I've watched the sub episodes and I think the English actors have got the right angle on how to perform the characters. Looking forward to seeing them all.
All of them have good voice actors but Yusa/Misa voice actress was the best, beacuse being able to change the voice so sudden is something to be respected

I just finished watching this anime and it was SO GOOD! Honestly, this trailer doesn't give the show justice as it's wayyyy better than it's described here.

Oh man i hate to be this guy but the sub was amazing! the dub sounds good but there is one thing thats off and thats the voice of Nao Tomori... idk but its not the voice i would have gone with for a character like her. if you've watched the sub you might get what i mean... but i digress, I love Charlotte altogether, it was a great anime with a good story. The only down fall was that there wasn't more episodes or a deeper looking into each character to get us more attached but overall I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good anime!
True I prefer the sub too a d it sure is the best anime I hope for a season 2 even if it is completed with a satisfied ending.

it was a decent show. Had a some wasted potential tho.
blame the fact they wanted to go slow, then fast, then slow, and suddenly fast slow fast. the suddenly speeding was when yuu's brother showed. and then slow on episode 11, and waht should have been at least a 2 parter was rushed into a single episode. Not to mention the 3 supposedly main characters Joujirou, Yusa, and ayumi received few focus.

It definitely needed to be twice as long. Could've done with two or three extra episodes particularly at the end in my opinion but I'm fine with what we got.

Ian R. Nava Huber Personally, I didn't care about them getting more screen time because to me they were clearly only supporting characters. The show was mostly about just Yuu and Nao, and it should've been more focused on that. To me the other characters were just typical cut out characters and were only there to lighten up the mood, provide the main characters support and to sell music just like every other anime or tv show out there.

Charlotte is my favourite anime till date...yet I couldn't help but compare how similar it is to shakugan no shana in terms of plot(towards the end)..like how both the MLs make it their mission to secure the futures of their respective FLs...

I was starting to lose hope because we barely heard anything ever since it finished airing but I'm glad we're finally getting it! I really hope they got Luci Christian to do the voice for Sala considering she's pretty much the reincarnation of Iwasawa. I wonder if they're including the OVA.

First anime..2017..someone had written a text about it in the school yearbook and the background picture . Felt something else..watched it during tumultuous times.The emotional rollercoaster was tight It's a shame that an anime with such potential had been rushed to the point of ruin

y'know I agree with the general criticism that the second half was way to rushed, but I still thought it was pretty good overall. My heartstrings were still pretty pulled in that last episode. Also, it's pretty awesome that the main dude was voiced by Noctis

Just finished watching the first block of episodes in dub and I have to say, I'm really impressed :) As someone who watched this in sub first, I have to say that I felt more of a connection with this anime and its characters in dub. Not to say that the sub was bad but I think the dub is doing the anime better. :) Can't wait for the second half!
good now I can finish this anime cause I could get thru it all in the sub.

how do you know after all those that you tell to watch it sub may just end up hating it like me i have a friend who showed me a clip of the sub and here is what i said "Zzzzzzzzz" it put me to sleep and im a disleksic so i can watch subs without it taking like 5 hours for just like half of the episode to pause and read
if it's not a joke i will take it seriously especially if your saying "just sayin" that i will take seriously because it's not right to tell anyone to watch it sub after they already said they will watch it dub there is not much difference other than hearing it in 2 different languages so really no one has to watch it in sub if they dont want to

Yeah, tbh I think he should've voiced the main character. Since he kind of reminds me of Lelouch.
They originally hire him as the voice of Yuu but he is too busy with other projects to take the role. Instead they hire Ray Chase (notable for the voice of Noctis) to take his place

The editing for this trailer really puts me off, ive watched the subbed version and this anime is amazing! Definitely a good watch not sure how I feel about the voices they could have made his sister sound a little younger

It wont happen, in the last chapter, we can see how the existence of the One-Eyed Grim Reaper became international knowledge. As no surprise, a lot of international secret factions will search for Yu for revenge. As his powers will disappear at the age of 18 - 20 aprox, and theres no one left with powers to protect him, most likely he will be assassinated easily.

I would say this dub is quite serviceable for what it's done best, and this was coming from someone who's have watched Haruhi Suzumiya English dub as the first anime I'd enjoy dubbed and survived throughout the awfulness(sort of) of Chuunibiyou's English dub
