99% this will never happen to the USA, because we are geologically protected by two great oceans and our neighbors are not military strong as the USA. Unless other nations has developed some great armada of ships, submarines, and airplanes that can carry weapons passes USA coastal defense then this might happen. 1% it might happen, because the spy balloon did made it through and float around.

Because the US wanted to co-develop the technology, as the US could not on its own.
The missiles are made in the US by Raytheon. The Marines just purchased two batteries.

I think it's kinda cool that the computers in the control center calculate where the rocket is likely to land before shooting.
Those Israelis really thought of everything. I guess that's the idea, no use wasting a $40k missile for a lawn dart that'll end up landing in a disused cow pasture.

3 things: 1. In the beginning of the video, the rocket that’s turning in the sky is the iron dome. Hamas rockets are unguided and fly straight.
2. The way it intercepts the rocket is by exploding right next to it.
3. It’s estimated that 25% of rockets fired from Gaza either misfire or fall short into Gaza. Any casualties and damages are blamed on Israel

Palestinians (including kids, women, and elderly) have been getting killed every day and for years . They were living peacefully in their country (which was called Palestinie and recently was named Israel) till the Israelis came and invaded their country and took it. What are they expected to do ? Are you freaking serious? Almost none of the rockets landed, but look at what Palestinians have been dealing with for years with no dome nor army and continuous violence from israelis. Why do you people share this type of information
From what I’ve seen, the missile defense systems belonging to various manufacturers all seem to exhibit their own flight trajectory(perhaps owing to their proprietary tracking system), so you could almost compare their flight path to a person’s signature.
This is obsurd if true. Iron dome is less genius if they are just using plug and play interceptors.
More than likely their flight trajectory based on the system they're intercepting.

Some of the missile launchers look like PAC2 missile systems. In fact some of this video showed PATRIOT launchers. I thought it was different tech? But Raytheon seems to be involved and they make our mid range systems as well. Interesting…
