Acrylic Pouring over CARTON BOX 📦 - Easy DIY Decoration for Beginners.

THE PREPARATION:
Of course you need a cardboard box for preparation. If this does not have a sealant, it is recommended to prime the box with gesso before pouring. Most of the boxes you can buy in decoration shops or discounters already have a sealed surface. You will also need 4 cups where you can put the two parts of the box to let the paint run off or drip off. The colours are mixed as usual, the recipe for this can be found below. You'll also need a stick to scrape the paint off the edges of the box to prevent noses from forming.
MIXTURE OF PAINT:
30% Paint
60% Pouring Medium (PVA Glue)
10% Distilled Water
THE POURING PROCESS:
You prime your canvas with the background color of your choice. Afterwards you apply the paint on the canvas in spots, so that circles are formed. Then you put paint in the middle of the circles again and again and change the colours. This creates a nice 70's pattern :)
You can either leave the motif as it is, or take a stick or just your finger and wipe through the motif once completely. Thereby very beautiful forms are formed, which one could not simply cast without help. Now you tilt your painting until you like the result.
For the lower part of the box I just let the paint run down the edges, you won't see the bottom later :)
