- I was watching some interviews of Alfred Hitchcock and his words inspired me to update my reel. As my career as a filmmaker gravitates towards horror his words on fear in particular really struck a chord. So here it is, a montage of my work as a director/filmmaker over the last couple of years.

This was actually beautiful
Thanks man!
I’m so glad that I got to see who made, “I heard it too,” that’s my favorite short of all time. Continue to follow your dreams----------
This is amazing I almost cried
Marleigh Agner thank you so much!
*Beautiful*
Your films are like a beautiful sad heart wrenching tragic love poem... I love every single one of your uploads Matt.
Thank you!! :) I've been a bit slow this year, doing a lot more writing and networking. But I should be uploading a lot more soon!
Amazing work here! Brave and clever use of Hitchcock's words. Keep going!
Cheers guys! Really appreciate it. You too! :)
Great...

Definite kudos
Thank you Kacey! You're very kind. Been a bit slow this year with creating new content but i'm hoping to release a new short in the next couple of months!
Matt Sears I'm just being honest, and that's understandable it seems like you work hard on these videos so I can't wait for the new one!
Thank you, it's always great to know what people think. Especially when it's good haha.
Matt Sears ya I agree. I've been looking into film and animation so for me and a lot of people, this is great. Keep it up 👌
thay thumbnail killed my vibe
This reminds me of MrCreepyPasta.
0:26 - I don’t understand the purpose of this video and why there are a lot of very short snippets of videos in this video, but I remember seeing the video in which this elderly woman was the star. She did an incredible job and is a marvelous actress.
Dolly (my Nan) is always the star! This is a showreel. Basically it's used to get across a large selection of your work in a short time frame to show someone who might have the time to sit through all of your films. Also you pick out the best parts from the shorts to hopefully impress them and persuade them to hire you or give you a bunch of money haha.
@@MattSears Oh! I didn’t know such a thing exists, but it makes a lot of sense. Your videos are wonderful! I remember the elderly woman in the snip front the video she was in. She was amazing! Her acting is so real and effortless. If she truly is your Nan, then talent obviously runs in your family!
@@tinaflintstone8148 That's really kind, thank you so much. I've made a few films with Nan over the years, there's another on my channel called Doodlebug which I think you'd like. It's about her experience during the war - like a documentary but brought to life. She was 94 at the time of filming, so was extremely proud of her. She worked so hard.
Thank you for watching my films! :)
Beutifully succint.
Is that 'Alan Watts' that I hear talking in the background???
It's actually Alfred Hitchcock
Holy smokes, you’ve made some horrifying stuff.
Cheers George!
Anaze.
Make less sense please.
PuppetMaster WHAT?!
This is self explanatory and everyone that is real and true knows simplicity = “everything”. It isn’t about the petty things in life, instead, the little things are what makes life worth it....
I love your films! I’m a huge fan
I love your films!
