Tis this video, the dawn of the MicroJig.
I seriously love my GRR-Ripper. Got it from my special lady friend for Christmas 2 years ago and use it for almost every cut on the table saw. Also, love this project!
Get it? "Love" this project?
Is this thing on?
Drunken Woodworker Dude. Go home. You're drunk
This comment is so old but, seriously, I laughed to hard on it. *claps*
@@MakeSomething Can we all just have some fun, just a little fun..come on it's ok.....let's just have some fun lol
I think next weeks project should be shot entirely in the re-enactment style you used for the drawer cutting scene. Loved the special effects.
The dramatic re-enactment alone nets a thumbs up! And the rest of the video is pure icing.
Congrats on the sponsor Steve!! Great bandsaw box video and plans, I have the glue up done waiting for it to dry. Thank you much for the free plans.
Forever in debt to your priceless advice...
Steve you just saved my skin. thank you for this great idea.
Micro-Jig you ROCK!!! Thanks for all you do. Thank you Steve for another great video.
You are an inspiration to all us Mere Mortals!
Nice little box and a great gift for Valentine Steve.
Congratulation for the new sponsor to your show, you are the one worth to be supported in every way. Remember the first video I saw from you, it has been the "routed wooden chain". Back in the old days the people complained a lot about your safety, now, in honor of your sponsor you have to think about getting safety a "-2", although I still agree with the slogan "safety third".
I feel sorry for your broken band saw blade, but as I watched you cutting the outer shape of the box I thought you should invest into a plasma torch instead of a new blade this won't make less smoke, but tighter radiuses and you'll be the first to make a "plasma torch box" instead of an ordinary "band saw box".
I am looking forward to every Friday (not myself, as I see my face every morning in the mirror) as your humor leads into a great weekend.
Greetings from Good Old Germany

Hey Steve, I have built quite a few of your projects. I'm a big fan. I love this box design and I just built one today. I'm not a fan of chisels, so after I drilled the holes for the tray, I cut the tray part out, which allowed me to use my scroll saw and spindle sander to clean up the opening before I glued on the bottom, then cut the rest of the heart shape off
Welcome aboard Micro-Jig!!
Absolutely beautiful!
I've had a Micro Jig GRR-Ripper for about 4 years and am glad I have it. I use it all the time, but it's especially great when I need to rip thin strips. Thanks for sponsoring Steve's show!
And Steve, lower the blade guard on that band saw!
This is one of my absolute favs!!! I've rewatched it several times. 😅🤷🏻♀️🙌🏼
Nothing beats a hand crafted gift! Love it! :)
"Master of the hand tools" ... love it.
I lovely your project. Thank you!
G'day from Australia Steve. After my initial foray into woodworking I discovered your channel and because of it, one of my first purchases was a GRR-Ripper, a purchase which I've never regretted as I still have all of my digits and intend to retain them for many years to come!!!
I hate when that happens! Also hate the smell of burning purple heart. But, I love box/tray combo. Great idea!
Wonderful job of Steve.
What is that tray for?
I've been watching a bunch of your videos and they make me really want to get access to these machines and materials and make something! I took woodshop in high school and remember loving it!
I love Purple Heart. I don't know why. I just find it so appealing.
Such a long way since the humble beginnings. Now with sponsors, a shop, abd thousands of subscribers ! keep it up !
I AM LOVING IT STEVE
I respect you so much for teaching people and make every thing free, your work is amazing and you to ❤
I love micro jig! I just installed the MJ splitter on my table saw. No more kickback and binding cuts. One tip with bandsaw boxes-use CA glue! It's faster than yellow glues.
Very nice! I agree that the purple heart and padauk make a nice contrast.
Glad to hear MicroJig is sponsoring the show now, Steve- they make quality stuff. If they send you a Splitter system, that would be a great video to make (hint hint)!
So I just watched one of your first videos on different projects to make from a log. I couldn't comment there so I'll comment here. I know it's been a while and I've seen others do it, but coasters are a really good project to make out of logs. Just cut the slices, lightly sand and seal them.
I really like this project Steve. Thanks
Yay!!!! Micro-Jig
Love your videos Steve 👍😍
Love this project
That wood looks nice.
Cool box, Steve. And good for you on the sponsorship. I'm glad that they saw the value in your show and your audience. Knowing that you're getting more and more support says great things about you and the future of your show. I want to be able to watch your videos for many more years to come. Thanks, Micro Jig! Oh, and the Griiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiper is a nice tool. I have one and wouldn't mind more.
Nice bandsaw box Steve. There's a trick I learned here online that says if you "cook" the purpleheart (introduce heat, maybe steam) before finishing it massively enhances the colour. Maybe the friction from the b/s blade was enough.......but....
Top notch Steve, thanks for sharing!
Got this unit on the go. Making it out of Black Walnut with an Elm base. Should be a nice contrast.
Downloaded the plans, thanks Steve. On to the bandsaw !!! Stewart, south west Australia.
Thank you Micro Jig for sponsoring the same best woodworking show, smart and choice
I love it!
Very cool little project
You are so fun to watch. Makes me forget I had a hard week... so thak you!
oh wow, it looks so good, I wish I had tools to do something like that..
LMAO!!!
"I can assure you, the shot looked something like this... EEEEEEEEHHHH..."
That cracked my ass up!
This is the first WWMM video I've watched and I think it's outstanding! Great name too! I'll be on pins and needles waiting for new episodes every Friday! Thanks!
I liked for the dramatic recreation of the missing bandsaw shot.
That is some absolutely beautiful wood, great choice! Oh and wonderful re-enactment really made me feel like I was watching it in person. :)
GRR-Ripper.... it is all I have asked for as my birthday/Valentine's Day gift!! :)
Great video - going to head into the shop and try to make one! Thanks.
i adore the purple heart
1st Ever Video with MicroJig. I probably look forward to the MicroJig advertisements at the beginning than the actual project. How creative!
Always super nice project !!!
It turned out beautiful Steve.
Regards,
Bob
Love your channel! Your a nut, in a good way. I don't know how you find the time to work on all these projects and edit the filming also. I have a full time job and can hardly find the time just to get out in the garage and play around. Glad to hear Micro Jig is sponsoring you now. Keep us entertained!!!
Great vid Steve best project yet
Awesome video Steve.
Don't you just hate it when that happens?
Good show!
Larry
Hi Steve,
As always I love your woodworking videos. I had a bandsaw blade break on me once, took about 20 minutes for me to settle down before I returned to it. I also love the bandsaw box and plan to do some more of your projects when it warms up around here. Living in Northwest Washington it’s just a little too cold to go work in the garage right now.
I would like to point out something you may or may not have seen but on your ‘Mere Minutes weekly blog’, it says weekly “vlog”.
Keep the projects and blogs coming.
Ron Austin
Amazing as always!
You could add a little magnet+metal duo to the back of the drawer, that could be a good use of the additional space you got between the drawer and the frame.
Nice Job Steve
That is really nice! I'm going to give this a shot!
Great project, really enjoying your videos and mere minutes, learning a few thing on the way
Awesome !!
Je vous tire chapeau mon pote.
Good looking job. Any girl would be happy to have for Valentine's Day. And thank to Micro Jig for supporting free wood working video.
CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING A SPONSOR!! :)
Micro jig works great for cutting very small pieces of wood through your table saw. It allows the cut piece to clear the blade with little chance for kick back as the jig grips both the stock and the cut piece and keeps them together as they pass through the blade. A great product and fully adjustable to your project size.
Congrats Mr. Ramsey on finally being sponsored. You are doing a great job of consistently improving your channel. Kudos to you!

I gotta say..... Love your video's Steve! Very simple, straight forward and easy to follow!! Keep up the good work! BTW, I always check your channel out when I am looking for something cool to make, or how to make it for that matter!!! :D
Nice project as always. For year round giving too. Thanks for the plan.
My granddaughter needs one of those!
I love microjig! As soon as I get my table saw you better believe I'm getting a grrriper
Very nice! And congrats on retaining all of ur digits when it broke
Awsome Steve it's a good idea
Cool Idea!
Great video....you rock!
I was also startled by the breaking of the saw in the end even though I was expecting it.
That's so cool I must try it but I'm adding color!!!
Very nice project by the way !

I love my GRR-Ripper's so much I own 3 of them. This way I can have it set up 3 different ways for all the different cuts I make on the table saw.
That came out nice. That bade snapping at the end scared me. All I could think about is the tips of my fingers. Ouch! Hope all is well. Great project, thank you for your contributions to the woodworking community here on CZcams.
Gorgeous box! Don't know if my skills are up to this project but it is awesome.
Somebody give Steve a t.v. show!!!!!!!
AWESOME!!!
Really awesome!
i think you wife love it!
I like also the Dramatization :P
And a big THANKS for sponsor for help you show me your video!
most amazing work man and with a explanation so good that i think any one can make this!
Cute box for Valentine's day.
I have only broken one blade on my bandsaw. My problem seems to be the tires. Had 3 break on the top, but none on the bottom so far. (Knock on wood).
Carl
Love your videos. Keep up the good work
wow, awesome! I want a bandsaw...
Thank you for the idea))))
very nice work and fun to watch to
BTW....Got 2 of those Grippers. Great for long pieces, just leap frog them and the feed never stops. Great for Jointer and table saw !!
