When I first heard Sophie's music, I was blown away for two reasons. One, how amazing she was. Two, how much she reminded me of what I was trying to do with my demos back in the late 90s. I'm looking forward to the new release later this year, I just wish she was still around and we could hear what music she would have made.
I'm not sure if you saw, but her family is releasing her album she was set to release in the summer of the year she died, titled 'SOPHIE'. She left responsibility to her brother, Benny Long, who finished up the mastering of the album and it will be release September 27th of this year, with "Reason Why" already being released. This video was wonderful, thank you
