Awesome reaction (again). I believe that their version of Enter Sandman will blow your mind. I've been a Metallica fan since the early 80's and in my opinion, The Warning version is my favorite. I've been a musician for 47 years and this band is a beast waiting to shed its skin. I don't believe they've shown us yet, just how great they really are. I have the exact same fear of deep water as you do… but don’t fret, the lyrics use symbolism to represent the feeling of just wanting to be left alone to wallow in one’s emotions, sometimes because it is the only way to truly heal, even if the emotions are really heavy and hard to handle
TW has various styles of rock but they are invariably pure rock!!
With its structure, its breaks, transitions, rhythm changes, modulations, choruses, pre-choruses, drum attacks, its endings…
The great beauty of their art is in its simplicity but all this always seems to be at the right time and in the right way, bordering on perfection and predominating sophistication.
Each of its pieces can be very different, but always with all the TW flavor.
It’s very clear that these sisters have no limits.
They have that gift that only belongs to the geniuses that appear among us every certain long period of time.
They are the queens of the hook, the riff, the contagious rhythms, the catchy melodies, the sublime vocals, the unbeatable harmonies and the ambiguous but deep and powerful messages.
And this happens song after song... INCREDIBLE!!

Nice to see that 'Enter Sandman' from the Teatro is next, love that show! For a few years though I've been reading comments about how even their professional recordings don't prepare you for the live experience. Saw them live for the first time last night and I can confirm those statements are absolutely true! Can't wait to hear it all over again next tuesday!

This was an eye opener for me when I was first checking TW out how good Dany's vocals were. I always thought she was great but this video wow and she sounds just as good or better live which is crazy. Great reaction thank you btw every song from Teatro Metropolitan is amazing. 🔥⚡

I know the fobia (not to water, but to bottomless water). I have a mild one despite growing up in Puerto Vallarta, swimming and diving pretty much every 2-3 days. But as a diving instructor told me: "if you are drowning, it really doesn't matter whether the bottom is 5 ft or 5,000 ft away. You will drown in any case... so forget the bottom and focus on the surface". And damn, he is 100% right.
The meaning of the song, according to Pau, is that sometimes you become so overwhelmed by emotions, that it is better to fully embrace them ("drown" in them) instead of fighting. That is why the swimming girl first drowns and dies, then comes back to life, then starts to dive peacefully - that is, after self-acceptance.
And this was the song that made me an absolute fan of TW :)
Same! I'm actually a very good swimmer, and I LOVE the water... just not deep dark water where I can't see the bottom. When I went to the Mayan Riviera it was the most beautiful water I've ever seen with white sand beaches. I spent a week just floating and snorkeling because it was impossible NOT to see the bottom.

@@MrsRealistic They're just finishing up a month of shows in Europe. I expect them to announce their North American tour for the new album soon. The album drops June 28 but there are 5 singles already released, two of which you've reacted to.
@@MrsRealistic Pau kind of let it slip that The Warning are doing a US /Canada tour in the fall. She quickly backtracked saying she did not know the details. I guess it will fit in between the festivals of Rocklahoma late August and Aftershock in November.
Hope you get chance to see them - I only have 4 days to wait.

Simply one of the very best OMV, there are others that are absolutely fabulous as well. This one here has introduced many new people to the incredible talent of these young Ladies. They are Rockers at the highest level, been listening to Rock/metal for 60+ years and these Ladies right here are at the top of the list....so much talent, scary talent. I have seen "The Abyss" and one of my favorite movies all time...I also live at the beach so no fear of water, ocean is my swimming pool. I'm actually a very good swimmer. My mum was a champion swimmer as a younger woman and taught me as a toddler. I'm not afraid of water, I LOVE the beach, just deep water that I can't see the bottom. And yes, the Abyss was an amazing movie. 👏

When this song was released and we got to hear Dany's voice climb to the high note, I was stunned. I'd been following them since 2020 lockdown and the release of the 'Error' album was on another level and now they are about to give us a new album June 28th. Now that we've heard a few tracks so far (and they are awesome), it's yet another anticipated level.

The imagery of the video really did what it was intended to, by drawing out those emotions of despair. Here's a cool fun fact: Pau only had a black shirt available for the filming, but wanted it to look a lot more "Rock-n-Roll". So, she created the silver stripes down the arms and the silver collar with tons of silver diaper pins. If you pause the video on shots of her, you can make them out. 😀

Who are these fantastic sisters of The Warning? The band (maybe the only in my long time of rock fan) where the last song you listened to, is always your new favorite! It's almost unbelievable such talent in writing music and lyrics!
They are the best performing live, but when it comes to OMV then "Evolve" and "Disciple" are both must see.

An intellectual band like The Warning is a breath of fresh air in today's world where music lovers have forgotten to listen to what a band is saying. Its all about energy & performance. Lyrics be damned. Intellectualism of classic rock has been defenstrated.
Thankfully these girls are restoring that balance between lyrics & instrumentation in a song. After a long time in rock, a band is consistently saying something substantial. In case of The Warning, its also how they are saying it. Over the past decade, through profound metaphorical poetry, the girls have been delivering insightful social messages in most of their songs.
Such is their wisdom, despite their tender years, that they published a concept album in their 2nd venture at the studios in 2018. You must react to Queen of the Murder Scene - a story of unrequited love from a girl's point of view. Discussing about despair, angst, lunacy, death & self harm this masterpiece is 2nd only to Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon in terms of darkness.

The Warning have a concept album called QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE (commonly referred to as QOTMS) which they played in its entirety in 2018 at Lunario (a venue in Mexico City). The album and concert are divided into Chapters, as mentioned above. It’s a fantastic concept album written and performed by TEENAGERS, and it rivals The Wall…

Their most popular song - closing in on 20M views/streams between Spotify and CZcams. There are three versions of Enter Sandman - the original that launched TW’s career in 2014; the MV with Alessia Cara of their reimagination for the Metallica Blacklist album; and their performance of the second version during the Teatro Metropolitan concert. All three are next level.
I've got the Teatro one coming up, but I'm really excited to see the first one when they were little!
The version at the Pepsi Center for their 10th anniversary with the string section is also good. The channel alitaaaa ★ takes multiple fancams and cleans up both the video and audio quality. While they did have professional recording equipment going so far they have only released a pro shot version of HYCAD from the Pepsi Center in Mexico City.

I think this song kind of was the breakthrough of ”the new Dany” when it comes to her vocal capacity. She sure could sing before as well but here her ability just exploded into a new era and she has definitely held an even more professional standard since as a real rock n roll queen.

Regarding choke, I do not have your fear for deep waters, but I still do not like looking at this. The live version (also at Teatro Metropolitan) is fantastic.

We all know that they are amazing live, but they certainly know how to make MV's too. XXI Century Blood is the best example of this imo, especially considering their ages when they made it. This MV is beautiful, and maybe I'm way off here, I am from time to time, but this song has a bit of an Evanescence feel to it, I think. Enter Sandman, huh? Now I'm curious if it will be the 2014 version when they were 9, 12, and 14, or the reimagined version. And if it's the reimagined version, will it be the MV (another good MV), or the live version at Teatro Metropolitan? The suspense is killing me 😆Either way, you should, at one point or another, react to all three versions.

To me for The Warning their official music videos are fun as a re-visit to see the production, but otherwise always go for the latest pro shot live performance from their CZcams channel. They are one of the rare bands that are just better live.

I'm a very good swimmer... I'm not afraid of the water, I just don't like deep, dark water where I can't see the bottom. I've been swimming since I was very young. My mum was a champion swimmer as a young lady and taught me from the time I was a toddler.
Yes it does sound dark, but, when they explain the meaning, it's all different. It's about being overwhelmed and stressed out.
