Ripper is the only guy I know that can sound like the actual studio singer in his live performance. Even the original singers have a hard time matching their studio versions.

In fact it would be super nice to clone Judas Priest members and make 2 bands: 1 with Ripper, another one with old buddy Halford. Can`t say the same about Blaze period in Iron Maiden history

I don't think people really appreciated the power and range Tim had (has). He just crushed it while in Judas Priest and since. This is not a good cover..it's exceptional. One of the best covers I have ever heard by any band ever.

Yeah, he could be perfect as a King Diamond replacement. If anyone could do it anyway, its him. Different style vocally, but Ripper nails it in his power style, which is fucking amazing. Diamond is so weird falsetto-type style, but it works amazingly in his band.

During the time when he replaced Halford in Priest, i had mixed feelings about the changes, but Owens is awesome, but i think Halford is the best!
This is just as gnarly as King Diamond's version. I can't say one is better than the other, they're completely different animals.
But the lineup here is basically the greatest power-metal cover band ever assembled!
