Yamaha FJ09 Oil Change MT09 FZ09 - The Quick and Easy Way

In this video I go over all the details you need to successfully complete an oil change on your FJ09, MT09, FZ09.
Drain bolt torque spec: 31 ft-lbs
Oil filter torque spec: 12 ft-lbs
2.7 litres required for filter change
10w-40 4T oil

Tip: A bit of aluminium foil wrapped around the exhaust headers prevents them from getting burned in droplets of oil ;-)

I changed the engine oil including the oil filter and it was not difficult to do it. Then I went for a short drive and checked the oil level again and it was good. With the videos you share you help many motorcyclists who also want to work on their own motorcycle. ✌

Hiflo are questionable, I prefer to go with K&N filters for Oil and Air as they'r'e top quality and renowned

Hey, love ur vids specially since am running the exact same bike. Except eu version so mt09 tracer its called.
Am beginner rider en its my first bike, i jave bin trying to look up on when to clean the chain and lube it etc. Or after how many kms. But every1 says something different. Could u make avid on how to clean it and lube it and when to do so?
