Barry is getting better and better everyday. I feel safe listening to him because he is kind and humble and...funny.
He teaches us to cultivate virtues instead of wanting blessings all the time ( egocentric).
Before, I used to think that I am too hard on myself when I went against my flesh, my suffering and try to reason, to fix myself with the Word of God. Before, I let the flesh win and I ran away from the situation so that I would be able to avoid the person that irritated me, avoid anger, pain, fear.
So all my life, I let the flesh win, have no lasting relationship, not enjoying the victory, the abundant life that God wants me to have because He wants me to be victorious to my flesh, to live a life of peace, love and joy and good health.
But now, after listening to this video, I know that I am not hard on myself when relying on the Word of God to change my perspective, to change my negative feelings: I RETURN TO LOVE, TO MY TRUE IDENTITY THAT I AM ROYALTY, THE PRECIOUS BELOVED CHILD OF GOD WITH WHOM HE IS WELL PLEASED. I AM NOT A BEGGAR, A DRUNKARD IN THE STREET AT THE MERCY OF THE DEVIL WHO TRIES TO RUIN EVERYBODY 'S MIND, LIFE.
I RETURN TO LOVE, TO THE GIFT OF HOLY SPIRIT THAT I HAVE ( LOVE, PEACE, JOY, KINDNESS ETC...) AND ENJOY WHO GOD CREATED ME TO BE.
I WAKE UP TO MY TRUE IDENTITY AND LIVE A VICTORIOUS LIFE, LEAVING BEHIND THAT DEFEATED DEVIL WHO WANTS ME TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS OK TO SUFFER BY HIM.
NO, NO, I LIVE A VICTORIOUS LIFE BECAUSE I HAVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVEN TO ME BY MY HEAVENLY ALMIGHTY FATHER. I AM ROYALTY, I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST. I AM AWAKENED NOW. THE DEVIL CANNOT MAKE ME LIVE IN WRONG ILLUSIONS ANYMORE. AMEN.
Way to go. The Bible says resist the devil and he will flee from you!

Your teachings are changing my life! And my husband's!!! My husband's son just called and said he shattered His ankle and I heard my husband telling him that Jesus took this pain and healed him 2000 years ago on the cross and to claim His healing even though he may be in physical pain he needs to thank God because it already happened! Glory to God hallelujahhhh!!!!!!! God is so good!!!!!!!

I love so much to hear how u preach the word of God.
I have found when we choose the Spirit, God gives us time to think about our response. In a flash, I’ve had several roads to choose. I believe God multiplies our time when we walk by spirit. Flesh steals time. When flesh is in control, we loose our choice. I don’t know if there is a scripture that backs this up but it has been my experience.
So greatful for theses study's 💕 blessed

Wow!! So powerful!!! Barry thank you I’m learning so much through your teachings especially because I’m having to make a decision regarding surgery or not! I like the message on the power of NO! From the first day I went to my Drs appt I didn’t feel peace I hadn’t had my ultrasound yet and she wanted a biopsy. Then as she was persistent on surgery I told her I was a Christian and wanted to pray and seek God first she was not agreeing that I wait . I’ve been reading the word and watching these messages and been in prayer, I believe God has heard my prayers. I trust him and keeping my mind on him gives me peace 🙏🙌 thank you Lord for the Holy Spirit who guides us to all truth. God Bless you Melissa from California

Wow! That was really helpful. Probably a bit late for a comment but I will anyway. I have debated people on social media & sometimes things get heated. I've managed to not go so far as to insulting people, as it's the default with many when it's a faceless opponent & we're debating from the safety of our armchairs. But yes I was debating in the flesh & this has helped me to recognise what I already kind of knew but was ignoring. Then when you went into that same spirit, which really is a spirit of self-righteousness, affecting our driving for me you hit the nail clean on the head. I have had other Christians sit with me & try to explain that when I'm driving this is happening & although I listened I did not take it to heart & for years have driven in an angry self-righteous spirit which made me the dangerous driver. It's only God's mercy that in those years I did not have a serious accident as one acts irrationally when one is 'right' yet responds in the WRONG way. This talk spelled it out & has shone a light on my heart & helped me to 'get it'. Here's a little poem that nicely sums it up. "Here lies the body of William Jay. He died maintaining his right of way. He was right dead right as he sped along, but he's just as dead as if he was wrong. Thanks for your labours of love that help us all out here in listener land to become more useful & better tools for the Kingdom.

QUESTION: How do we know what to
believe when there are so many teachers
vary in interpreting the same scripture.
Ask the Holy Spirit to give you your personal revelation/ interpretation and when it comes it will be so real to you that you will have a “Supernatural Knowing” and there will be no uncertainty. After you get that revelation see if it matches up with the teaching you heard. James 1:5 says
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” I pray this helps.
How do you not let it sting ? Husband and I are healing and my children unfortunately has developed some habits from our past and I’m seeing them and I realized I felt hurt again I spoke this to my husband and it didn’t come out right and he immediay didn’t want to spend time with me then and I asked for another chance but he didn’t give me one . He said some really hurtful words I forgave immediately still wanted to be with him but he said he wasn’t ready yet and I just felt hurt all over again and went without again. I feel so neglected and hurt and I feel I’m not allowed to ever make one mistake with out the results of this
