Does doing the lip slide help on learning 360's on a skim board where you're turning more in place rather than in a circle as you show?

Got your new board. Used to skim style so this is a fun change. Struggling to disconnect the fins. So hard to get nose in for lip slide. Advice?
Thanks for the support Rick! Think about driving your front knee up hard. A lot of the time its because of your back foot not scooping towards the boat. Make sure to scoop the back foot!

You keep saying “lip slide” but showing a board slide. I’m not sure if it’s because you made the mistake early on in your content and you’d rather be consistent than accurate, but using the wrong terms is confusing to people learning them for the first time. As a Pro/Coach you should know and convey the difference between a lip vs board slide.
