People will respond with compassion for many reasons.
      1) the other person is so caught in their egoic tendencies they will not hear or understand basic logic. Therefore why bother.
      2) Choosing not to react can actually neutralize a dynamic and holds the space.
      3) Choosing to say nothing out of fear for threatening behavior and response from the aggressor. Yeah I think self explanatory.

@@AvanaKahe's speaking of the demonization of acting competitively, which is seeking to win, regardless of actually doing it.
Effeminates notoriously dislike competitive behavior, they are very vocal about their desire to eliminate it, and they don't really do it for kind purposes(though they might pretend to), but because they feel uncomfortable in that environment.
Women naturally love to enter man spaces and then try to feminize them. They're not even aware that they're doing it.
They say stupid things like "it's not about winning, but trying your best", thinking that might ease the pain of being a loser, it doesn't and it's degrading.

Well I'd say that only one gender is really being successful nowadays. You talk about it not being gendered, but men are doing extremely poorly now. Both in education, and in the workforce. Women are far more successful than men today, and that's amazing. But boys, and men are being left behind. Do you care at all, that boys and men are suffering a lot more today? Do you even understand how hard it is to be a man in this society?

I do agree strength is under siege, the term lions for lambs not being new however, suggests it always has been. I think if you look closer, you’ll discover that not all strength is regarded as “threatening”, the only strength that is attacked is that which can’t be bought. I would also state that it’s less a matter of being “taught” to let your guard down, become more pliable, ignore injustice etc… so much as a conditioning process. Ironically, it’s the masses of sheep that become the tools to implement punishment to the lions, whose crime was fighting for the sheep, lol.

      @MichaelFerraro-bt4ig Před měsícem +1

To put it another way, there is what appears to be a global effort (again, i suggest it’s always been present) to find the most intelligent, capable, strong, independent people on the planet and try with patient maniacal precision to force them into a position of neediness, so that society can “help” these most capable people to fit snugly into society. The society that they constantly complain about, proving that they themselves have no idea what or how society actually “functions” or what their role in it actually is.

I think he's right about the castration and the weakening of men on a global scale but I think he's wrong about Andrew. Partly because he reached a level of popularity in a short period of time that Jordan couldn't and partly because he's been mad ever since his daughter Mikhaila hung out with Andrew a few years ago while Jordan was in a downward spiral.
I think Tim is also wrong on the topic of Andrew as well. It reminds me of highschool when certain guys became jealous that the Quarterback was dating the prettiest girl in school. Don't get mad, become better.

Jordan Peterson, society is speaking about celebrating best qualities. Regardless of gender. So enough that men are being asked to be weak.
When people have been abused by power, oppression, purposely and intentionally treat a non-male gender as lesser etc., do you believe that these things should not be addressed? Surely we can all agree that there are better ways, regardless the gender.
I am literally too tired at the moment to comment on this absurdity but hopefully others here can speak to some of these sentiments.
I look forward to a society where gender is not a focal point but rather the behaviors, thoughts and words of Nobility.
Furthermore what I find interesting is that for someone who is so moved by Christ-- I highly recommend researching Eastern mysticism because this is where noble qualities of christ is further highlighted. Just like the meaning and use of aggression.
Lastly, please just stop speaking and preaching that you understand women.

Peterson never runs out of things to say because he relies on that vast reservoir of defeatist notions he draws from. Where does self-accountability enter the equation? If some people were gonna try to teach me masculinity is toxic, I'd tell 'em where they could stick that idea.
Of course standing up to that BS requires a backbone and Peterson seldom talks about men in possession of a backbone or balls. It would interfere with his love of whining, bitching and moaning. Of course, he comes from an industry where they don't get paid by producing results; they get paid the same amount per hour whether they produce results or not.
You want things to be better? Don't complain. Anybody can complain. Instead, offer up some substance for a solution!
