I lost my mom two years ago, and this year I had to cancel my plans to spend Christmas with my boyfriend’s family (it’s a long story...suffice it to say, my neighbors are assholes). So I’m spending this Christmas alone, and I’ve been really depressed. This video made me laugh in the best way. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for lighting up my corner of the world for just a little while.

I know this time of year can be so hard for a lot of people (myself included) I lost my dad when I was 6 and any holiday or special event just isn’t the same, ever so trust me when I tell you I feel you. It makes me so happy that I can bring you some sort of light. These are the comments that motivate me to keep creating, truly. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I worked for AT &T and was in charge of a team of people translating our customer services and sales curriculum into Spanish.....one would think that we had all the Spanish speakers we could need since we had folks in Miami and Texas on the team....however, we found that the type of language we needed was not often spoken by the average person on a daily basis....we ended up hiring someone from Venezuela to help us....we would get on the phone for a meeting and talk about how to translate one sentence for a half hour....everyone had a different idea how something needed to be said in order to preserve the English meaning.....It was a riot! Clearly that same situation exists when translating makeup terms...lol.

Yeah. I think sometimes Siri normalizes Spanish to the most popular in the US, which may be the Mexican dialect. But if you learn Spanish from Spain, the words will be different.

Try using regular eyedrops to refresh your mascara, brow gels etc. when they go dry! I put a drop in them whenever I notice them starting to dry out.
