How much do people really know about agriculture?

- We asked people on the street in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago questions about agriculture. Watch the video to find out what their answers were to questions like: how many people a farmer feeds or how many jobs agriculture supports.
i think as a farmer that city kids need farm eductation in there schoools!!!!!! and along with ffa to to educate the kids that never see a farm about were there food comes from and is produced
sehjwsg I totally agree with you. Why do you think we are feed livestock! To feed you them juicy t-bone steaks! FFA is a wonderful foundation. I was a part of it for four years, and learn lots. I know am in my first year of college and am studying Agricultural Business. Why? Well my father is a farmer, and I love agriculture, with out it I do not know what I would do.
That man may have been referring to more vegetables and fruits than meat and dairy, i.e. vegetarians, since livestock are not vital to human life.
"I would like to see farmers do more to feed families rather than to feed livestock" Ummm what? This video seriously shows the absolute lack of understanding of agriculture and the need there is to inform the general population!
