How to Make a Rag Quilt

I cover all aspects of the various ways to create a rag quilt and show you each step of the way.
What you need for a 36" x 45" baby quilt:
* 5 fabrics - 1/3 yards each
* 1 fabric (backing) - 1-2/3 yards
If you want your back to be patchwork like the front, just get 5 2/3-yd cuts each.

Did you sew around the OUTSIDE of the quilt as well? OR did I miss something? Get video, thanks for the tips and information.
So glad you found the video helpful. Yes, You're going to stitch a half an inch in from the outside edge all the way around the quilt. You can find that at about the 40-minute mark in the video. ☺️

I ended up watching the entirety of 2 of your videos before I knew it. I love your instructions. By the way, where did you find the manly ( blue) precuts? I need to sew a rag quilt for my son in law with blue as primary color.

Blue flannel layer cakes from my local fabric store back in Minnesota. If I find out the name I'll let you know. 😊
Can you mix cotton and flannel?
The cotton won't fray the same way the flannel would, but hey, give it a try with a 4 patch and see what you think.
