When it comes to ‘chatpata’, spicy, Indo-Chinese vegetarian street food, the gobi manchurian rules in Bengaluru. And every vendor plying the trade has a secret sauce to rustle up his signature ‘gobi manchuri’. One of the more popular versions here, I was told, is the one dished out by Raja at his streetside nook in JP Nagar, South Bengaluru. A cook in a non-vegetarian eatery before he began his gobi manchurian enterprise out of a pushcart eight years ago, Raja combines a friend's recipe with a potent spice mix to toss up over a hundred plates of gobi manchurian each evening. I catch up with Raja and dig into a plate with a friendly bunch of food bloggers.

Hey Kripal, big fan. Have you done Windmills Craftworks? That would be one blockbuster episode. All the best.
I told my brother, to learn English vocabulary from you by watching every day 1 hour your videos...
Sir neveens kitchen please
Kripal I had gobi there, it was just ok. The hype given to this place did not really transfer on to the plate.
BTW he uses RUCHI GOLD PALM OIL! I got allergy..
Dedicated and always smiling guy I must say, nothing more!
And your description was spot on. Take a bow!
Identifying that fennel and that peculiar garam masala flavour was something most of the people don't recognize. Amazing!
Fennel punch is super😎
Taste buds👍
Everyone is a food critic until Kripal arrives 😁
Lol
Haha good one
Lmao, the others are actually foodies if you ask me only Kripal is the real deal!
🤣
True
No food bloggers explains like kripal, he is 'vere level'❤️

Gobi is what young gen head out to get every alternate evenings .... Half gobi with onions is love 🤤😍
Kripal has become celebrity vlogger look at the aura around him 😁😁😁
He is celebrity from starting
Any body who does his work with utmost passion and dedication, let it be any field, becomes celebrity due to the merit of his work. KRIPAL Sir is best example. His English speaking is one more attraction across the country and abroad.
7:50 Such an expert food reviewer with avid interest has placed himself in Bengaluru of all the cities in India. lucky and privileged we are.

Bengalure is foodies heaven. Top notch food available here from all over the globe.
Bangalore and Karnataka is like USA All talented skilled and hard working will definitely thrive and fulfil ther destiny under the all welcoming all loving embrace of karnataka
Absolutely!
@@dcmhsotaeh With due respect to Karnataka, USA is shit as you know they elected people like Trump and Biden as President. And they are one of the dumbest nation. Their nation grows with the help of talented immigrants who live in their country
What a contrast. Yesterday u were at one of iconic and famous Telugu hotel and today u r at a roadside food. Amazing these guys require ur support. Hats off to you.
I didn't know how we can differentiate between the spice levels of green chilli and chilli powder until I saw your explanation... It takes a lot of love and passion towards the food to express in such a manner. ❤️
Gobi is absolute love. For all bengalurians who grew up in the 90s eating gobi off the roadside gaadis, brings back an extreme nostalgia.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I brought 2 plate and I found hula in it very bad
@@Rojatilagar123 u should make at home only and eat..
Kripal explaining the taste and texture to the kids made me remind of movie "ratatouille" where the chef rat explains to its friends who just hogs down any dish😂
True 😂
No one would have explained Gobi for 15 min .. ;-)
Nice video and good review .
😂😂
😁😁
You also read something on internet you would also come to know.. the seller is making .. gobi using palm oil . .. and using MSG .. AND. ALSO low quality adulterated saurece.
I used to stay in same lane from 2014-2019. Daily breakfast at SLN n weekly once Gobi here. This guy is always smiling n treats customers well.
Wonderful days... missing now :(
Kripal you are a food detective. The way you identified sweetness coming from fennel seeds, while others were guessing it was from tomato sauce, was good to watch.
Kripal Sir... You have been an Ambassador for all food lovers here in Nama Bengaluru...!! Hats Off to you and your team, for bringing the best of all the food available to us... Keep it up!!👍✌️👌👏
This seemed like a master class being conducted by Kripal sir for the wannabe food bloggers.
Gobhi manchurian was our saviour in Bangalore back in 1997..😍😍🤞🤞
7:40 True story of these food bloggers.😂
🤣😂🙏
@7:39 Only professionals can detect such minute details!!! From 5 star hotels to galli side shops, great contrast Sir!
Everyone's a gangsta until the real one (kripal ammana) arrives😎😎
Kripal is the monster, hahahaha
U justify the food joints properly by explaining what all goes inside the dish and what makes the dish comes out deliciously. Hats off to u.
Wow that's were Kripal sir the best on this field , finding out fenil seeds in garam masala 👌👌👌👏👏👏👍👍👍👍☺️☺️☺️
Soft from outside and crisp from inside...haha that is gold.

This video looks like a Kripal sir taking a class lecture on food.
Students are very much eager to learn.
For me this was a super class...!

Gobi vlog is super.👌👌👌👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Mr.Kripal Amanna has a his own dictionary for describing food😝....his vocab is outstanding...😍i havent come across any food channels as detailed as him and so classy...👌
I am a huge fan of yours. I live in Canada where the current temperature is -15 degree Celsius and all restaurants are closed due to lockdown. I am missing home town and the amazing food from Bangalore. Your videos satisfy my appetite for spicy street food. Thanks for making these videos, I am a big fan of yours!!
What I like the most in your vlog, is uplifting & identifying pockers of caterers. Something like, CSR activity of corporates. This besides doing vlog on the bigger Hotels/ restaurants
Vaa yummy tasty delicious superb spicy
Awesome vlog sir😍
It was like the professor is explaining a topic to a group of students out there ..
Without knowing tastes of different things you can't be a food blogger...just eating and saying good taste , tangy , crisp from outside and soft from inside won't make you blogger...Kripal nailed with these ametaures.
Nice to see that you are covering even street food seller. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love he doesn't waste food if it is too spicy or not good but still he enjoys it love u kripal sir
*This video is for gobi lovers* .. 🤩🤩🤩
You are indeed an most humble food admirer, like always you have a special power to convert water into vine with just the way you admire and describe it :D
The guy was so lost in the gobi manchurian taste, that he said: soft from outside and crisp from inside..
Awesome video

5:37 he is literally flipping them with his bare hands🤯
