Gina charmed me in 1-3 with her amazing animations but completely stole my heart in 1-5. I’ve rarely seen the cynical ‘I don’t trust others so I don’t get hurt’ character type done so believably. It really works because we personally get to see multiple times how everyone just takes advantage of her, mocks and belittles her, refuses to believe her, and jumps to awful conclusions based on where she’s from. Writing a good defendant is an underappreciated art and often makes or breaks a case for me. A good defendant makes you have a personal stake in the outcome of a trial, it makes you want to truly fight for your client and get them off. And damn straight I wasn’t going to let this girl down after she finally took a gamble and put her faith in ‘Oddo.
Exactly my thoughts on 1-5. She grows so much into trusting others. And guess who's the first one at the sholmes residence to SPOILERS: congratulate you and celebrate your victory in the very last case of the duolgy? Gina.
My favorite thing about Tgaa 1&2 is that they don’t throw away defendants, they give them personality and life, except for the exception of 2’s case 1, all characters are somewhat mentioned elsewhere or seen, and it’s something I wish they did with more of these Ace attorney games

From what I know. Bobbies or constables of london police in victorian era are mostly locals in the area they were stationed. So some of them may come from poorer background, who may or may not be a pickpocket or a con artist growing up.

I love how much gravitas this song has with the dramatic opening and the violins, this kid is a force to be reckoned with, she basically wrecked the 1-3 case with trickery and well-put-together false testimony, and on the other hand the evidence she gathers in 2-4/5 with her unique methods is crucial to uncovering the truth... yet overall it's a cheeky and cute theme just like her

A case where multiple eye witnesses saw a group of armed thieves, one of which was shot by said thieves, run from a crime scene with one man dead and a girl unconscious. The Scotland yard: Oi’! THE MISSES IS ‘OLDING A GUN, SHE DID IT! SWEAR ON ME MUM!!!
I started reading Sherlock Holmes when I was in the middle of case 1-4, and seeing Lestrade become an inspector blew my fucking mind after seeing Doyle's Inspectors Gregson and Lestrade consulting Holmes. It feels like the writers really loved the Sherlock Holmes stories, reading the books basically feels like I'm getting to steal extra time to stay in this world

"Gunshot from Downtown" does, while admittedly sounding cool, seem like a pretty severe mistranslation at first glance. It doesn't really fit Gina in my opinion, she isn't even really from the Downtown, even though she is a city girl. The official translation does seem more fitting to me.
I think I get what the title of the theme is TRYING to imply, but it honestly just sounds like a "Messenger of the Slums" got lost somewhere, which kinda just amounts to a messenger sucking at their job.
Nah, I read it more like she's the slums' messenger, sent out into the world to help her people, which she does. And she's lost until Naruhodo finds her and helps her find herself (gosh I sound pretentious, sorry)
