To make this for yourself you will need:
    ♡ 100g/3½oz/½cup caster sugar
    ♡ 2 tbsp. golden syrup
    ♡ 1 tbsp. cold water
♡ ¾ tsp. bicarbonate of soda
    ♡ 300g/10½oz/1⅔ cup dark chocolate
♡ 1-2 tsp. vegetable oil to thin chocolate for dipping
    ♡ Coloured candy melts/mini Smarties/mini M&M’s
    Equipment you will need:
    ♡ Square silicone mould
    ♡ Baking tray
    ♡ Cake pop sticks
    ♡ Mini square template
    ♡ Baking paper
    ♡ large heavy bottomed pan
    ♡ Spatula
    ♡ Whisk
    Method:
    1. Add your water, sugar and golden syrup to a large pan and set over a low heat until the mixture is completely liquid. Be careful not to let the mixture boil here.
    2. Once all the sugar has dissolved turn up the heat and bring to the boil.
    3. When the caramel has turned golden in colour and has reached 150°C/350°F, turn off the heat and add 1½ teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda and whisk quickly.
    4. Pour immediately into your mould and shake the baking tray vigorously to allow the honeycomb mixture to get right into the corners. Push in your cake pop sticks and leave to set for about 2 hours at room temperature.
    5. Once set carefully remove from the mould and dip in melted dark chocolate. Then stick on your mini Smarties/M&Ms/Candy Melt squares whilst still wet. Leave to set completely.
