      Sorry Jordan but that's a frustrating website to use for numerous reasons as well as being over priced.

      The problem with Loadout is unlike other companies they don't offer free delivery (regardless of how much you spend). That's a deal breaker for many. Who wants to pay for delivery? It is also bad business sense, because free delivery over a certain amount encourages you to spend more. With Loadout there's no incentive to spend anything at all.

      @@KendalMike we would love to hear your feedback on the website being frustrating to use Mike? We try to be as competitive as we can however as a new family run start up we could always be better, unfortunately the cheapest price is usually someone selling at a loss or close enough, after that we are pretty close, we also regularly run discounts and promotions share through our socials and email marketing, if you need anything feel free to reach out!

      @@gadgetman36 Hi gadget man, we actually did use to offer free shipping but our current courier made that option unviable, we are currently switching to a new courier which will provide multiple options instead of just flat next day service, meaning we will have cheaper and FREE delivery back again soon, sorry if this has deterred you from using us.

    I would recommend the Knipex NexStrip Multi-Tool for Electricians with non-slip plastic grips 190 mm 12 72 190 SB over these. You can also get those from Loadout as well. Because I am in the USA I had to get them from an Austria as you couldn't purchase them in the USA. Best of both world, strippers like these as well as ferrules! 🤠👍

    I Am a panel builder for theatre special effects/automation and festival tents. In the Netherlands. A colleague of my dad gave me knipex ferril pliers and a fluke multi meter as a present when my dad thought me how to build panels at the factory where the three of us worked. I used a cheap €5 cable stripper for the first few years until that one broke in the middle of a job. Served me well for the price but I switched to knipex 12 42 195 to complete my knipex set. I just love the quality and feel of the pliers and that I can trust on them on every day at any time.

    At that price point, I just wish it was a bit more robust--some Al or steel rather than all plastic. Some high end plastic is fine, but it just don't feel robust. Performance is great, but I always worry about durability as the price is "lifetime tool"

    Does it strip outer sheath on 2.5 T&E cable.

    Thats not panel builders best friend... Best friends has also ferrules and crimper 😁. I have these, works very well except on 0.2-0.5 pur wires

    • @MrQwedc
      @MrQwedc Před rokem

      0,5 is good, but 0,2 (0,14) is a pain with weidmüller stripax. Cleaning blades helps for few next strips but it is annoing anyway.

    I work with 26 awg stranded wire which I crimp to male pins for dsub (db25) cable construction. Do you think that tool will be able to strip the insulation cleanly without cutting off any conductors? The insulation is made of Polyethylene. Thanks!
