- The Macan GTS is here and Porsche wanted to bring more performance for 2022. Under the hood is a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 that now pumps out 434HP & mated to a 7-speed PDK. On the outside the GTS gets different bodywork, wheels, and sticky tires. On the inside you will find tuns of carbon fiber and race-tex. Is the 2022 Porsche Macan GTS the BEST new performance SUV to BUY?

The people comparing a BMW X3 or any other crossover to this has probably never owned or driven a Porsche. The others are nice but it’s not a Porsche. The GTS was a little steep for us as a weekend car so we opted for the S in papaya. Also, I read comments that mention this a lot but when you buy Porsche, you’re not buying it for the moonroof or head up display or any other trivial option… you’re buying the drive handling & performance

Great video! As much as I’d love to have a gts version, I am absolutely in love with my macan s which is agile and practical for my family of 3, one of the best cars I’ve ever owned!
Love how much fun you're having! Our Macan GTS (in this same colour) is sitting at port to be ship loaded any day now. Also did red calipers to add a splash of color and controversy to an already spicy looking ride. FYI - Macan GTS comes standard with PSCB (Porsche Surface Coated Brakes). Thanks for the entertaining video and for launching the car so many times... it's so properly quick it almost looks like video is at 2X speed 🤪
Hello Joe, you know that you've worked hard in life when you're the #1 Apostle to the Luxury and to the performance cars and that is truely the sign of success. I dig the green on the outside and the red calipers it reminds me on green spaghetti and a cup of grape juice.

Yes!! You finally got it. Just ordered mine this last Tuesday. Just started the video can’t wait to see your take. Mine cam in just under 102k, but I’m thinking about getting the Burmester sound system added instead of the Bose. Got mine in Dolomite Silver with the Bordeaux red leather interior with walnut wood grain.

Amazing car review and those launches!! My favourite thing about the Macan GTS are the tungsten carbide brakes which don’t seem to get dirty with brake dust or rust. Makes washing car a breeze. I believe this may be Porsche developed to go between normal steel and carbon ceramic. Just awesome

Hi Joe…..You nailed this suv. I have a smoke grey one optioned heavily. I might note that you can have ventilated seats if they are not alcantara. Also I think you said 3.4 sec 0 to 60. I have recorded 3.8, but in true Porsche fashion they rate it low 4s. Drives like a sport sedan. Unless your tracking the car…..one will never miss the lower ride hight. Love mine and enjoy the utility and daily in the vehicle. Drive mine in sport mode always and manual shift for a great connected drive. Awesome review . Thanks Lori….nice camera work as always.

I like the way you only compared one other car Joe, the X3 M Competition, I think you’re right as well. I personally think the infotainment screens & practicality slightly better in the Beemer, but I’m guessing this has a better ride? Never been a huge fan of the grill on the Macan, but BM isn’t great either. I think I’d probably take the Macan, however I’m interested to know your thoughts? Anyway, I think you meant X4 M 😆🤣
I have a 2023 Macan GTS and love it! It’s the perfect daily driver. Like another reviewer stated … it’s got a Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde personality!

I have the same car 2023 (one month new), similar although I have the front camera and panoramic sunroof. I agree with Salwat5 that the BMW has better infotainment, but I don't like the suspension in the BMW - was too track focused for me, but excellent vehicle as well. Alpha Romeo Stelvio also very nice , again harsh. I have an obnoxious car already so this one a littler more livable was my preference. So far I love the car and engineering, not sure just yet on Infotainment TBD. Nice review thx!
Joe love every review you do! Love the green and contrast stitching 🧵 I rented a Macan back in August. It was a blast to drive. The get up and go was unreal. I am debating now between that and the Genesis GV70. Genesis a little more affordable and roomier and comes with more for less without having to be added options like the Porsche
Porsche is the way to go, incomparable to others

Green is my favorite color especially any neon green and the 2 brands that do greens well is Porsche and dodge. Green isn’t an easy color to make it attractive

This is probably the best all-around or even hyper hatch. By the way if you get rid of the rear windshield wiper you'd be getting rid of the external hatch release as well

Almost jumped outta my seat when i saw the thumbnail. I was like "Finally, he reviewing the Cayenne Turbo GT!!" Then i realized it's the Macan GTS. Still very excited!!! Cant go wrong with a Porsche, and the Macan is quite popular in Jamaica if you believe that. Great review.

I got a 2023 X3 M40i... I did consider Macan 6 cyl, but X3 M40i gives me the same features for a lot less... And it's just as fun to drive
