This works for me, but some games like Portal 2 crash occasionally and when they crash on reboot the drive it was on fails to mount so the game greys out. If that drive was a USB drive it's fixed by just changing USB ports, but if it's an internal drive I can only get it back by leaving the console physically unplugged for 8 to 12 hours. Why? And is there any way to manually mount a hard drive that's dismounted?

Andrew Andreas System update can be ignored. I would assume the same can be said about other language files as well.

Using this method will the game show up in the games menu of aurora or do you need to edit a file for that? I'm so confused.
This is simply to rip the game to your hard drive. To have it show up in Aurora you need to set your scan path in Aurora to the directory where your games are stored.
@@TheModShopCO hmmm i just did exactly that but no game. Any ideas? I went through both menus hoping to at least map to the game directory. On the top right of the aurora dashboard it says downloading 1 items

I recently installed RGH mod on mine, it autoboot directly to Aurora, I tried to rip my Banjo N&B disc , but it won't show in Aurora's cover list, but I can launch the xex file normally.
My CPU goes to 80c also, I thought was too hot XD but seen yours now I'm relieved

I’m here to download cfb revamped! I am brand new user and I’m all in on trying to install cfb revamped. I bought my modded Xbox 360 and now I’m currently on the website to install revamped and for instance on step 1, the files that I need to paste on my folder on hdd keeps popping up as a paste error(on aurora). I’m new to this and I’m very frustrated at the fact that I’m having trouble on installing the game files on hdd. I have removed the title and didn’t have any uniform packages installed. I’ve tried to install the files from the dvd and after I downloaded them on my usb it doesn’t paste on my folder. I thought that I might now have enough storage on my hard drive. What else could it possibly be? I’ve tried it on freestyle dash with the same result. Any help will be appreciated!!! I’m hoping I can get in contact with u or anyone who can help me install the game on my Xbox 360 with all the versions as well!

Why do you have to open the Aurora dashboard from the xex menu? You can just set it as default from dashlaunch

Running Aurora on start can cause issues for certain things, for me it was system link with a separate retail console.

Yes this would work for backing up a game to a USB drive as well. Just choose the USB instead of the HDD when selecting your directory.

It might be called something else - mine is called "content". Regardless of game it's the directory that has the 0000000 folder in it. That's how you can tell you have the right dir/folder.

You don't do that in Aurora you do that through the media player.

Some japenese exclusive games like no more heroes and mortal Kombat 9 and red dead 1 and bully won’t transfer off my usb onto aurora it keeps having errors but it transfers most, I can still play em off my usb but the load times are slow and I wanna see the super cool box art on my aurora too 🗿
Some of the file names are probably too long, that's what's causing errors - the 360 has a 43 character limit for file name so anything above that causes errors. If you want to play those games on your xbox, you'll need to convert them to an iso with 360mpGui and then convert the iso to GOD with ISO2GOD

You'll need to download the Partition Fixer to create the backwards compatibility partition on your HDD. Once you've done that you need to install the backwards compatibility files which can be found online. Abraxas 7 if you already have the partition you should be good to go but you could also benefit from adding the latest hacked emulator files.

For newer multidisc games the process is very similar. The easy way would be to simply pop in the install disc and install it like you would on any retail console by starting the game and pressing install. The manual way would be to insert the install disc, open the Aurora file manager like in this video and navigate to where the content folder is. Transfer that content folder to the directory on your hard drive that also contains a content folder. That's it.
What about second disc? And content folder what ? lol I'm new modding lol
@@Fatone-sf8xs The second disc can sometimes be your install disc, it can also be the play disc. The best way for you to install the "second disc" is to just insert it into the console and start the disc. When it opens it will install itself for you like normal.
So create a folder ghost
Once disc is in install save everything that's on the disc in my ghost folder that I created ?
@@Fatone-sf8xs Okay so you know how you would install the install disc on a regular unmodded console? Do that. Disc 2 for Ghost is your install disc. For disc 1 follow the guide in this video.

To delete a game simply select the containing folder and click the delete icon off to the left (file with the X on it).

How to mark like 3 games and paste onces
You can select multiple games that are already ripped and copy them into another folder. Just do the same as in the video by selecting the games individual folders by press X on each game folder, then click the copy button, and paste it into whatever folder you're wanting to put them.

You want to copy/rip the "Play" disc. Then insert the "Install" disc and run it and let it install like you would normally.
