Thank you for posting this video. I used these steps to replace a cartridge at my mom's house. She has this exact same set up.
The tool comes in the package for the new cartridge. That tool made the cartridge come out very easily.
When installing the new cartridge, make sure you use the tool to lock it back in place. You have to line the cartridge up so the water flows through the faucet.
SHUT YOUR MAIN WATER LINE OFF FIRST!

99% of the time the Moen cartridge not easy to pull out!
Try showing this on a 70 year old house. Cartage needs a special tool ( puller ) Show that one.

No. The video would have been great if he told people to shut the main water off first!… If they remove the cartridge while the main waterline is still turned on, they’re gonna get water damage bc water will be bursting out. 😱
