As an anime veteran, I'm no stranger to devastatingly gorgeous and overpowered white-haired bishounen, so more than anything, it was the moment he told Jogo "you're weak~" with that coy whine and lip-glossed grin that I knew I was in serious trouble. The reveal of his baby blues a few minutes later was just the final nail in the coffin.

i think even without him having the title of "the strongest", he would've been a very enjoyable and popular character regardless because he has such a fun and charismatic personality but yeah him being the strongest and being confident about it also adds a lot. one thing i also love is his "unhinged" side whenever he gets serious while fighting an opponent. since he's so strong and barely has to try, whenever he gets a bit of a challenge we get to see him in a very manic state which somehow makes him more attractive haha. i kind of like that about the JJK "good guys", all of them have some moments while fighting where they look like they could've been the villains.

I agree with him being a popular character even without being the strongest. He has that personality, brains and presence. It just takes out the burden of expecting him to be the strongest in any and every situation. He would still have been a character hard to not like. Besides his ‘obviously good’ character design, for me, Yuichi Nakamura added that extra flavour, which simply elevated Gojo Satoru. Like his voice and dialogues stay in your head thanks to his VA.

Said ball will attract everything close to it, like a gigantic strong magnet. It’ll destroy everything in its path, just in a more controlled way.
Reversal Red: Another part of Limitless’ abilities, Reversal Red. Which is the opposite of Lapse Blue, it is smaller, and stronger. The color of the ball, would obviously be Red, it’ll repel things near it. Let’s say this one is positive. Unlike Lapse Blue, this one is harder to control, as its pushing, and not pulling. Though Satoru has it covered.
Hollow Purple: A combination of the two, creates a bigger ball of purple light, that’ll rush forth and destroy the things it’ll be sent to. Let’s say… Negative + Positive? 0. Hollow Purple will force an imaginary mass onto whatever its thrown at, essentially expiring their subscription to stay on Earth.

RCT: Satoru could use Positive cursed energy to heal large wounds on himself, though he can’t do it on other people, he could certainly do it on himself.
Teleportation: Everyone should know of this already, but if not… Teleportation would allow Satoru to go wherever he wants in the blink of an eye, this goes for other characters who have Teleportation like himself. He can also teleport whoever he touches.
Flight: Not only can he go wherever he wants, he can fly whenever he wants. He could lay on air, on the clouds, everywhere. As long as he still has this ability, it’d be impossible to catch him. (For a normal human)

-These OP eyes of his are what allows him to control his cursed energy levels almost PERFECTLY. Which makes him active everyday when using his techniques. They unfortunately have to be covered most of the time, as they’re only usually useful against Cursed Spirits, or those who have CE (Cursed Energy) in general. He would get fatigued if uncovered for too long, and if it isn’t used during that time.

No, Kakashi didn't have this much motion as much as Gojo does. even Itachi had more of a fanbase than Kakashi, and Gojo's fanbase crosses that of his own anime.

Gojo is very endearing because of his confidence, charisma, kindness, and silliness that just lifts the mood. He is a ray of hope for many, some rely on it as if he ain’t human, but some of us love and appreciate him because he is lovely as a human (if he does not go crazy, but that’s because of trauma).

I love this!! You said something that really helped me understand what it is about Gojo that compels me. The fact he's unapologetically himself and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. I knew I loved his poise and composure in the face of absolutely everything, but I think the crux of it is how he always decides he's on his own side.
