It took alittle over half of a year to create a 47 second live action master piece solo. If more people worked together with this much passion we'd have amazing live action anime movies, but sadly it seems like we will never have that. I hope many who are in the industry picks up on this video and even work with you to make a future live actions. I am very against watching any live actions purely because 95% if them are so bad I physically cringe, but this one has real cinematic qualities and I actually liked it! 👍

i really like it!! a little critique that i think would go a long way if it's ever seen is in the scene where it zooms in on his eyes, you can see your lashes underneath the white ones that were added which definitely gives away a bit of that live action you were going for!! just a really minor thing, but it makes a big difference like with the leg hair

This really makes you realise that making a live action anime adaptation look good is basically impossible, this one clip took 200 days, that's insane, making a full series like this would be too unrealistic, hence why almost every live action show flops, there's just not enough time, money and people to make a full show that would look this good. Mad props, insane amount of effort here.
Depends on how much money is involved.... if you had 150 animators / CGI artists you could churn out one season per year at 12ep per season. Currently MAPPA has about twice that... 360 total employees I expect a large chunk of that maybe 300 is animators and CGI artists. By comparison a feature length film like Alita Battle Angel had 900 artists... also computationally things are much cheaper to do now, RT rendering is around 10x faster than it was 4-5 years ago and can be done in realtime on workstations. Also they have these stagecraft tech that took off with the Mandalorian, I expect that would be quite useful for any Anime adaptation film, since you can reduce the need for real sets like were used in a large portion of ABA.

@@lejjmusic yes, but this is a 40 second clip, even asuming you don't need the whole show to look this good, you'd need at least 50 experienced animators to make ONE episode and it would take about 200 days, that's just the animators, not to mention directors, sound artists, designers, actors, makeup artists and many other roles I don't even know, you would need an efficient group of like 100+ people to make an episode every 200 days and you somehow need to make at least like 10 episodes, then, you're hoping to god that the show doesn't flop, is still popular 4 almost 7 years after the start of production and that's all asuming nothing goes wrong, that's why instead of using mostly CGI like this clip, making insanely expensive productions like this, they use mostly actor performances, which come out looking pretty awful, but are cheap and not all that risky to make.
I don’t usually watch these kind of videos cos they are too long and it makes me lose interest quickly but I couldn’t with this one.
